Works great for my cross stitch projects. Holds a lot of needles. Strong magnet and good clasp. Worth the price.

It's not the prettiest item, but the magnet is strong enough for my needles. The magnet strip is cut quite ugly, with frayed edges, but it's not like people are going to be looking at my sewing kit. Packaging kind of sucks, I was lucky that the double-sided adhesive strip holding my case onto the package wasn't that old/that strong, so it came off fairly easily, but still left a sticky residue.

Here are all its shortcomings:1. The needle keeper is attached to this flimsy cardboard using some uber strong double sided foam tape. Furthermore, there's a piece of scotch tape on one side, taping it to that same piece of cardboard. I can clean and remove the residue but that'll probably melt the cheap plastic, which brings us to #2.2. The plastic is cheap. It's the cheap brittle kind. Good luck surviving a drop.3. The hinges do not work. If you open it past half way, the two halves separate.4. The magnetic part was not even attached to the bottom half. When I first opened it, it was wedged into the clear part.With so many wrongs, I'm surprised the magnetic part was even magnetized. Don't buy this. Get something else that isn't garbage. Maybe a small case made of a good plastic, with some neodymium magnets inside will work better.

Love this compact magnetic needle case. I use it when I travel so that I can keep all the needles I need to do projects together in one place. So small it fits anywhere in my purse and takes up no room at all. It has a clear cover so I can clearly see what is in it. I use it for beading projects but you can also use it for sewing, needlepoint, or any type of projects to keep the needles in one place. It also comes with two additional needles. This case also makes a great gift for crafters.

I do needlework throughout my house and this little gadget keeps my pins from spilling onto the floor.Reasonably priced.

I purchased five to separate needles by size and craft and I want to be able to see my needles and keep a count. The magnet is strong thus avoiding needles falling out of case.
