I am trying to become a coffee snob, so I bought a bunch of different coffee brands and types. I actually have no idea how to become a coffee snob, so I'll just say that this one tastes fine to me. It's a good price point; it's not bitter; it's acceptable. I might circle back around to buying this again, but nothing about it just wowed me. It's fine.

Sumatra coffee has a mild flavor, which is good for a change of pace after Amazon dark roast. It goes down easily and really wakes you up to start the day. I heartily recommend it.

I always mix my grounds, so they are half caffeinated and half decaf. So I did not taste this by itself.

Amazing flavor and aroma. I’m just disappointed that a few months ago when I started buying it, it cost around $8, and now it is up to $15? Why did it go up on price?

It is a pretty good coffee. Same as most other major brands, but cheaper. But the packaging is terrible. It should not be hard to open a bag of coffee. I have opened 5 of these and it ripped apart every time. Never happened with another brand. This is a big flaw for everyday usage. You have to struggle to take coffee out everyday, it spills, is wasted. Still giving 4 stars, because it is not bad coffee.

This coffee is very good. Full bodied, delicious aroma. My only complaint is this: The packages are sealed in a way that there is No Way to open them without tearing the top of the bag. The hefty metal closure tie is worthless because there will be holes all over the top of the bag. We love the coffee so much that we keep buying it and just put the bag in a big ziplock, but it would be great if they'd figure out how to package this wonderful coffee! I'm reluctant to remove a star because the coffee is that good, but the packaging really is annoying.

This is a very smooth tasting coffee but a little too strong for me; not bitter, just a stronger intensity. I do realize I bought a dark roast and I normally adjust my measurements of stronger brands to get the taste I want but this one was too strong. If you like that, this is for you!
