GBC HeatSeal H312 12.5-Inch Jam Free Series Pouch Laminator (1702770)

I ordered this item for the company I work for. We already have one identical to this one, however, we needed an extra one for my department.The reason I ordered it was because the seller I ordered from had excellent reviews, also , I knew that it was a good laminator. I ordered this one used , but in good condition because I don't use it every day so It would not be heavily used.So very disappointed though after, we were initially were told by the seller that someone at my agency refused to accept the item when it was delivered, and it was returned back to them. I really don't know what happened because I couldn't find anyone who had refused it or even seen it come. We had to wait for seller to resend item, letting me know it was costing them extra to resend, which I felt badly however, it wasn't our fault from what info I could gather. We finally got it and it made such a horrible noise, and smelled like it was burning. It didn't work either on top of everything. I sent it back, the seller did reimburse us part of the cost of returning the item and we just ate the rest of the cost. I love Amazon, don't know about this seller. They seemed ok, cooperative and all, although letting me know the extra cost they were incurring. I won't ever order anything used again though.

I love this laminator. I spent a lot of time researching and reading reviews and this was the best product and it has performed perfectly!

I used this Laminator to preserve large numbers of documents my mom had save from my dad's records. A previous Laminator had jammed repeatedly and damaged some of my material. This one performed flawlessly. The included free trimmer was useless.

I used this product for 4 years at my workplace and it worked like a charm. I don't have experience with other laminators, so I don't know if it is slower or faster than others, but I can say that I only had problems via USER ERROR! lol I did find that the automatic shut-off was a lifesaver, as our laminator was in a different room and you couldn't always hear the beep that indicates it is ready-to-use. I also liked that it had a dial on it that allowed you to change the heat setting with the thickness of pouches you were using (1ml, 5ml, 10ml, etc.). This laminator also does not require the cardboard carrier that some laminators require to laminate.
