Miracle in a Jar
This stuff is the real deal. I can't believe it has any reviews lower than 5 stars. My skin LOVES this cream. I have purchased creams and moisturizers from high-end brands and spent hundreds of dollars. None of those products compare to vanicream. Not only is it budget friendly, but one jar will last you MONTHS. I have combination skin and am prone to the occasional eczema flare up. My biggest skin issue has always been how dry and flakey my cheeks get. My T-zone is very oily, which I can handle, but keeping the skin on my cheeks moisturized has been a struggle for years. I regret not learning about this product sooner. The first night I used vanicream, I woke up the next day and my skin still felt soft and bouncy. I was impressed. I continued using vanicream every night for several weeks, and I can't believe the positive effect it's had on my skin. I am not overexagerating when I say this stuff has been a game changer for me. Thinking about all the money I've wasted on name brand products makes me cringe so hard. I had such a positive experience using it on my face that I also tried using it in the bend of my arm when I had a small eczema patch appear. The next day it was cleared up. This stuff healed the eczema the same way cortisone cream does, but minus the addictive steroid! I've been using it on my face, body, and hands now, and I've not had a single negative experience yet. Now, onto the specifics. I saw so many other reviews complaining that the cream doesn't immediately soak into their skin, and that's so silly to me. If something is working for you, why complain about such a minor issue?! Yes, you have to rub this cream in well. When you first apply it to your face, it looks like you just applied a glob of sunscreen. Depending on how much you apply, it's going to take a minute or two for you to rub in the cream. I usually apply it before bed when I'm doing my usual nightly skincare routine and I have the TV playing in the background. I just watch whatever movie or series that's playing while rubbing in the cream. This stuff works so well I could not care less that I actually have to put effort into applying it.Is this a good morning cream to apply before makeup? No. Use a lighter moisturizer for that. From my experience, the formula does not work very well with makeup on top. This cream is great to use at night, before you go to bed, so that it can work it's magic while you sleep. It's fragrance free. For anyone that is sensitive to smells, you don't have to be concerned about that with this product. In terms of consistency, vanicream is somewhere in the middle. It's not super thick, but it's not runney either. One of my favorite things about this cream is that it's noncomedogenic, aka, it won't clog your pores or cause acne. So for all my acne-prone friends out there, you don't have to worry about that with vanicream. This stuff is also usable for people with sensitive skin. Being eczema prone, my skin is pretty sensitive, but I haven't experienced any negative effect from it.I really just love this stuff and my skin loves it too. You can feel it absorb into your skin, and even hours after you've applied it, your skin literally feels moisturized and bouncy. Also, because I have combination skin, my T-zone is usually pretty oily, but this cream hasn't caused any excess oil for me.I'm not sure what else to say other than to give this stuff a try. I was blown away by its effectiveness. The fact that it's so budget friendly makes me even more satisfied. No more spending $80-$100 on moisturizing creams, and that's honestly a relief in and of itself. If this review was too long to read, just know this cream is amazing, my combination/eczema prone skin loves it, and for the first time, in a long time, I feel like I've found a solid product that truly works for me. I will absolutely be buying it again...but not anytime soon because one jar will last you months!Disclaimer: I was not paid to write this review. I'm not affiliated with Vanicream or the company that produces it. I'm a genuinely happy customer sharing my experience.

Reliable, gentle, and great for sensitive skin
I’ve been using this Vanicream moisturizer for about a year now after researching alternatives to another popular brand, CeraVe, for sensitive skin. I’ve actually come to prefer this over its predecessor—it feels safer and more effective at keeping my skin moisturized without any irritation.I also use it on my 8-year-old, who has very sensitive skin, and it works beautifully for her too. It’s thick but not too heavy, absorbs well, and never causes breakouts. I appreciate the squeeze nozzle, which makes application cleaner and more convenient.I experimented by adding lavender essential oil to my last batch, and while the scent was lovely at first, it faded after about a week. I do wish it came with a naturally scented option, but I understand the unscented formula is ideal for sensitive skin—which is ultimately why I stick with it.Great value, dependable performance, and gentle enough for the whole family. This is my go-to moisturizer!

Very moisturizing and non-greasy perfect for me
I cannot get over how amazing this cream is. I usually use a different brand of cream for my face, but I decided to try something different something the value for your money so when I found this and read the reviews, I decided I wanted to try it after washing my face and applying a thin layer of this cream I was hooked! It’s very moisturizing, and it does not leave your skin looking and feeling greasy. It absorbs very nicely into the skin. It comes out, feeling kind of thick, but whenever you start rubbing into the skin, it thins out nicely. I have not had any skin irritation or reaction to this Truly made for sensitive skin. I even use this on my seventh month old face because he has cradle cap on his forehead, and it has truly changed his skin. The skin is now very soft and moisturize. I use this every day when I wash my face at night. I use it on other parts of my body to like my hands in my elbows as those tend to crack and get uncomfortable, especially during the winter overall this is a great face cream and full body cream. The only thing I dislike about it is how short the pump is inside. I wish they would add a longer pump inside that way I can reach the bottom instead of stopping halfway, it becomes more of a hassle having to open it to scoop out the product instead of having the pump.

A Must-Have for Sensitive, Dry Skin!
I have very sensitive, dry skin, and finding the right moisturizer has always been a challenge. This cream has been amazing for me. It’s rich but not greasy, absorbs quickly, and keeps my skin hydrated and calm all day.I especially love using it with my retinol — it creates the perfect protective layer without clogging my pores or causing irritation. My skin feels so much more comfortable, even on nights when I use stronger treatments. It’s fragrance-free, super gentle, and the pump makes it easy and hygienic to use. I use it mostly on my face and hands, but it’s great for the whole body too. Definitely a must-have in my skincare routine!

Excellent, EXCEPT....
This is a superior product - dr. recommended - no fragrance, very good for dry skin, or combination type skin. I've used it for years. But the one annoying factor of the item with the pump dispenser is that the pump is TOO short. When you get to about an inch from the bottom of the cream, the pump does not reach & you have to unscrew the product to utilize the rest of the cream. This would seem to be a fixable defect in an otherwise great product. So i gave 4 stars, when it should have had 5. VaniCream is very very good - esp because of all of the stuff it does NOT have in it. I hope the manufacturer fixes this issue. If you want a pump dispenser, you should not have to unscrew the product to get to the cream at the bottom. That would just be wasteful for us, as consumers. I hope they can fix it.
