Very inexpensive and a perfect replacement for a countertop icemaker

I have a countertop ice maker that stopped making ice. Traced to a micro switch that was no longer changing state. Ordered these as they looked like the same and bam replaced it and the ice maker now works.

Replacement for up/down switches on home theater chair had to remove the spoon (no big deal) fast shipping, reasonable quality.

I experienced a failure of one these switches on an ice maker appliance and was quite doubtful that I could find a direct replacement. Due to its age, spare parts for the appliance were no longer available from the manufacturer. As a long shot, I entered the switch part number in the Amazon product search. And Lo and behold, there was a 5-pack available at a bargain price! A perfect replacement. I now have spares.

If your icemaker makes a couple trays of ice then quits, or the tray doesn't stop to catch the water its most likely the switch. This one has 3 pins and my old switch had 2, but that doesn't matter. Just be sure to wire it the same as the old one. It will either have numbers 1-2 or 3 or the letters C-NC-or NO. A simple job.
