I bought these to go with the blackout curtains we bought from the same company. They are a shade darker tan than the actual curtains, but I think it makes it look pretty as a set. We already love the curtains because they really really work. But when I opened the package for the valance, I wasn't sure they would block the light very well because the fabric seemed lighter. But hip hip hooray! We hung them up and they really work to also block the light. The only light that shows through now is the light coming straight up toward the ceiling, which we'll probably have to stuff something in there to solve that. But where these cover the top or the window, it's very very dark. We are so pleased as the morning sun comes in quite brightly at the window we're covering.

This is the second time I have tried getting valances for this one room and I was hesitant on these with it having 2 in the package for the price. I am very happy with these though. They are not super heavy but they are definitely not sheer. Perfect weight in my opinion. I washed in cold delicate cycle when I received to try and get the wrinkles out and dried shortly on low. It didn't take the wrinkles out but a quick going over with a cool iron and they look super! Very pleased with purchase.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  There is nothing about these Valances that I did not like EXCEPT the pocket needs to be another 1/2" bigger. It was difficult sliding the Valance over the 2.5" rods. Other than that I love them. The quality & workmanship is very good & I love the little banding on the bottom of the scallop.Used fourteen of them (7 windows) & I am getting complements from everyone who sees them. I did iron them, probably did not need to but that is me. I spent 20 years in the drapery workroom business so I am extra picky. Would highly recommend this product.

This is my fourth product purchased with Nicetown through Amazon. All of which are the same color, but the material is consistent, no imperfections, and they conform to fit any type of rod or attachment. Products ship quickly and are packaged well. I've made, like I said, four purchases, and each at different times. There were times I ordered items that were previously sold out, and the color of the product when I got them was the same as the previous. My goal is that every window in my house with curtains will have Nicetown curtains. The quality and value is the best I've seen on or offline.

These are just the right size to give your house that special effect. They are black ut material (we bought the curtains from them too). Great material, strong.... strong color too.

I did not care about the blackout ability of these curtains as I only ordered valances. I just wanted navy blue but the color was more of a purple blue with a trim blue on the bottom hem that did not match. I did not like the material and returned them.

Very happy with purchased. Good quality and well done valance. Gray color was exactly as described and goes with my theme.

This was for my mother, the material is a little cheap, but it looks nice once you hang it, it's like a nylon tipe of material so is thin, but over all it look nice.
