I wear this apron for everything - going to the park, cleaning, gardening, all of it. It’s beautiful and versatile, and I can wear it over anything. The pockets are large and are perfect for holding binkies, toys, garden gloves, whisks, really anything you need for being a mum around the house or garden! My only complaint is that over a few washes it has started to get scratchy and uncomfortable, so I don’t wear it with clothing that allows it to touch my skin anymore as it’s super uncomfortable. Other than that I want to buy it in every color!

Another reviewer left a kind remark on another woman's body about how she must have an eating disorder, and spoke of her svelte figure as if being a size one is both unattainable and undesirable, something that doesn't just come naturally for some women. This is untrue and petty to remark on. The apron isn't just for those of us of small stature. I am 5'5" (so not that tall but not short either) and a true medium. This apron is a bit bigger on me, the straps seem made for someone taller, which is just fine. It overlaps in the back which I like. I turn it to the front and pin it, then turn it to the back and go on about my day, somehow happy in apron without insulting other people who wear it better than I do.

I wear an xl and while this does not overlap in the back like the picture it still is quite comfortable and covers down to my shins so it does what it needs to. I would love to buy more colors as mine keeps dissapearing into my daughter's room. She is a M-L and it still fits her nicely.

I've been looking for the perfect arts-and-crafts apron for ages and had decided it had to be the Japanese style when I finally bought one. This apron is very well made and the yellow is more a mustard color. The fabric is very soft and the quality stitching is really nice! HOWEVER, I couldn't quite give it 5 stars for the simple fact that the pictures shown are misleading. I normally wear a size 16-18 and am a master seamstress, so figured the fabric would at least meet in the middle of my back (based on the generous "overlap" shown is a misrepresentation).This model must either be a size 1 or anorexic, because it barely wraps around the front of my hips! While it isn't exactly what I thought it would be, I still kept it and have worn it anyway since the top/bib and straps are perfect! Since I sew, I'll just measure extra fabric and duplicate this style, as it sure is cute and exactly what I was looking for!! Items like this shouldn't be "one size fits all," because it doesnt.

I love everything about this apron. The fabric is fairly thick and has a nice drape, the gold yellow color is lovely, it has two huge pockets, it's easy to put on, easy to wash, and is completely adorable! I love to wear leggings but not without a dress or tunic over them. This apron gives me the coverage I like so I can just wear leggings with shirts when I don't feel like wearing a dress. I plan on wearing this all the time. I just purchased a couple more in the beige, so I can dye them custom colors at home to match other clothes I usually wear. A quick note for other tall folks who might be skeptical about the fit: I am 6' 1" 140 pounds and it fits great (falls right above the knee).

I am sorely disappointed with this purchase. When I first got it, I loved it. It fit great and was light and airy. Then, I washed it. With every wash the material got thinner and got more and more stretched out. Then, just this week the strap just broke off. The material is so cheap that I think if it was made out of the cheap cloth gift bags that they sell at markets, it would have held up better. It’s hard to believe that this gets such good reviews.

The apron is as described and fits really good. It almost looks like a dress on you and super comfortable. I absolutely love it.

I could just live in these, and I almost do! They are generously sized and very very comfortable. I liked them so much that I ordered more.
