Great Performance Massive Zoom Range
Great lens offering a massive 24-400mm range. Sharpness is very good dropping off just a little at the long end. Perfect walkaround lens offering everything you would need Including an excellent close focusing range. Shallow depth of field is possible but only using the longer end of the range. Contrast is excellent and flare resistance very good. The lens looks great with a very nice build quality and finish. Water and dust resistance is an added bonus. Highly recommended purchase and great paired with a fast prime lens . 9/10 Overall

Very happy with this lens
I bough this lens to replace a 14-42 and a 40-150mm lens as I was tired of constantly swapping.I am by no means a Pro but this has become my favorite lens. I love the range that this has. It's heavy but in a good way and doesn't over balance my camera when it's on. I have had this around my neck all day without any problems.I am looking at the 75-300 lens though as I have started to get into wildlife photography.

Good Picture, but slow to autofocus
Purchased to avoid having to change lens so often between the 14-42 and 40-150 lenses. Functionally it delivers, it lives on the camera with occasional change to the 75-300 lens. The only issue is that it is slower to auto-focus - only an issue for moving subjects

It's a relatively cheap, compact, consumer lens... but a very good one!
This is a consumer level lens. It doesn't have the sharpness, flare resistance, wide aperture or AF performance of a "pro" lens. It also doesn't have the size, weight or price. It’s awesome that you get the weather sealing (see photo!).I bought this so that when I couldn't be bothered to take heavy lenses with me, I could still have a wide range of focal lengths available.I'm really happy with it. I've got pictures, like the above, that I wouldn't have because I wouldn't have had my camera with me.If you're realistic about what you are getting, this lens is awesome. You can take brilliant pictures with it, you just might have to work a bit harder or compromise a bit more than with the heavyweight alternatives.

Great addition to the Olympus line up
A very fine lens, especially at this price point. Snappy AF and sharp image quality. 12-200mm is a very broad and useful focal length!

Brilliant lens
Using the Lens on my Panasonic Lumix G7. Bought this so I wouldn’t have to change my lens so often when out birding . Heron photo taken at 200mm 1/500 f/8.0 ISO 2500. Well pleased with result . Mostly use manual focus, hand held. The image stabilisation does not work with mixed body and lens, but after a 2 week try out realised can compensate using manual focus. Really pleased with the lens and use it every dayDuck photo, hand held manual focus at 50 MM _ 1/169 f/6.3 ISO 200

Excellent range
All in one lens for general purpose use. A little heavy on the camera (OMD) but everything's a compromise. At least I'll never have the wrong lens on again.
