ErgonautsTravel Umbrella Windproof Vented Double Canopy with Teflon Coating - Portable Compact Foldable Lightweight Design and High Wind Resistance

Sturdy, Compact and Effective
The umbrella has been used regularly for over four years, and continues to work perfectly despite being exposed to some fairly adverse weather.I haven't found it burdensome to carry due to its compact build and fabric 'case'.It's definitely the best of several we've owned over the years.

Windproof & sturdy at a reasonable cost.
Previously, because of the frequency with which I lose umbrellas, I had been buying very cheap models, but these broke even more quickly than I lost them, so I decided to go upmarket a bit, although the Ergonomad wasn`t so very much more expensive than many of the ones which broke in the wind. I liked this one`s sturdiness, ease of operation, & the fact that, because of the vents, it so far hasn’t blown inside out in high winds, although that hasn’t really been tested very severely yet, because I haven’t been out much in bad weather - in fact I haven’t been out much at all, because at 78 with diabetes, I have heeded the government’s advice to stay indoors, & have remained healthy. The Ergonomad was a bit heavier than I had been used to, but that is a small price to pay for sturdiness & longevity - IF I don`t lose it (!), but this model has a retaining strap which you can attach to your wrist. The only improvement I can think of is that perhaps some means of indicating a bit more clearly which direction to roll the umbrella when refurling it. I keep ending up with the umbrella rolled up, but unable to fasten it because the fastenings are rolled up as well! The umbrella opens automatically: is it really impossible to devise a means of closing it too? Not that I can think of a way, but then that’s not my job. One more suggestion: I would appreciate the option of buying replacement covers, as I usually manage to lose mine - nearly as often as I lose the whole thing! Alternatively, provide somewhere to store the cover when the umbrella is in use. However, maybe they wouldn’t sell many umbrellas if they solved the losing it problem. I bet 3/4 of their sales are replacements.P.S Oh, & It`s great at keeping the rain off one, too!

Great strong brolly
4 stars.2. What did you like about the product?Well built, good size and good colours. Very nice handle and easy to grip. Feels robust but have not used it yet. The case works very well and nice that it is attached to the umbrella.3. What suggested improvements do you have for our umbrella?Could be a little lighter and a little shorter to make packing it easier. Yes there would bess coverage when in use, but most umbrellas are stored /carried more than used, so ttry and get the weight and length down a little.

Excellent and sturdy brolly weathered rainy Edinburgh and Glasgow
I’d been researching quote heavily in a good quality umbrella after my years of buying cheap “breaks after one windy day” ones from the likes of budget friendly Primark.Firstly, I purchased the forest green colour which looks great, rich green and looks premium.Do note, this umbrella is more weighty and larger than your typical British handbag umbrellas but there’s a very handy clip attached to the cover that clips nicely to the hardware of my handbags.I bought this umbrella due to the typical dreary rain all day, all week weather predicted in Scotland for a joint birthday holiday trip. The umbrella did not disappoint and it covered me (a plus size lady) confidently. I would say it would be a push to cover two persons, perhaps it can with the expectation you may get dropped on the edges. The automatic open mechanism works well but as others suggested, it does take a thorough push to “reload” the spring. My tip is, after pressing the button to close the umbrella, physically drive the umbrella to the ground until the pole reduces in length and you hear the audible “click”.The handle of the umbrella felt practically and ergonically designed for the hand to grab onto.I would highly recommend this umbrella to anyone who’s after a high quality umbrella that offers a spring loaded open and close mechanism.

Ergonauts customer service is elite
Great umbrella. Feels solid and well made. I use it (almost) every day as a London tour guide and it holds up well in strong winds. Downsides: you have to push the end of the umbrella to close the canopy and it’s sometimes a struggle to push against the strong spring that pops it open (as well as being mildly annoying to close when wet), and the handle mechanism has broken on several occasions, but here’s the thing… Ergonauts have replaced it, free of charge, with very little faff, both times. I’m impressed.

Very strong umbrella with good design
The umbrella is very well designed, especially i like the handle the way its designed very comfortable to hold and has very firm grip. The umbrella is built strongly with a nice frame which can hold strong winds and the stiches are also stiched strongly with wire. The cloth of the umbrella is also a good quality which has double cloth to support in the middle. The frames has a inbuilt spring which helps the umbrella to withhold the winds. The size of umbrella is the best where you can carry it in any bags easily and also its lightweight. The storage bag is very nice to insert the umbrella easily has it has a wide opening and a nice sticker to close crossly. The bag also has a ring which can be attached to umbrella so that the bag is not misplaced.

Great umbrella!
I really like this umbrella - colour is great - I think it’s strong - as in its not flimsy like other umbrellas that fly upwards with the smallest of winds. Easy to use and practical. I also like that it comes with the umbrella cover attached on with a clip.Only thing I would like to mention is that the pole of the umbrella isn’t quite securely attached to the top (even though it’s new the pole rattles and shakes from side to side) I wish it was slightly sturdier. But honestly no other umbrella compared in my opinion - the buttons to open and close are handy and up to date with current times - the actual cover on top is strong and there’s a lot to like!Lastly, I know some people are complaining about the heaviness of the umbrella - I don’t know - I’m a 21 yr old woman who isn’t the strongest but I’m okay with holding it while it rains.

Headcap already broken after 3 uses
The media could not be loaded. This is my second umbrella. 1st one was a black one that was very good but I lost it.I wanted the yellow one but couldn't find it so I bought the same in green color.3 uses only and I notice my head cap is already broken and stitches are detaching!I am very worried of the quality of this new umbrella.

Muy buen producto
The media could not be loaded.
