A great starter on the double Ocarina and the price is right
As a starter to learning the double without spending to much ( Like I did ) it’s great sure it clogs after a while because it’s plastic but that’s with all plastic ocarinas and it’s has great sound nicely tuned

Very good affordable ocarina with a few manageable issues
I purchased one of these as a gift to a Zelda fan. Before giving it to him, however, I decided to try it out for myself. Well, after a couple of weeks, I couldn't give it up, so I bought a second one for my friend and kept the first.Despite liking the product enough to buy a second, there are a few issues with this ocarina. The biggest complaint is that the main chamber sometimes has trouble with some of the high notes (C and above.) This is due to condensation. The notes start to sound extremely airy and eventually stop playing if you don't clear the condensation. After 20 minutes or so of playing, you have to start clearing out the condensation extremely frequently, which can get annoying. The only other complaint I have is that the painting was a bit inaccurate (nothing serious, but it's noticeable.) These problems were present on both ocarinas I purchased.Other than that, it's fantastic. The notes are in tune with respect to each other. The sound is very clean and clear (when condensation isn't affecting it) and the tone difference between the two chambers is surprisingly minimal. Another reviewer has had trouble with the upper chamber, but my experience has been opposite: The upper chamber is crystal clear.I was expecting a cheap sounding tone due to the plastic, but I find the sound this instrument makes to be very pleasing. If anybody is interested I can provide a sound sample.85/100

Beautiful and well made
Love it! It is amazing looking, pictures don't do it justice, I still prefer wood or ceramic for playing , but for costuming, plus a cool hang on the wall thing, this looks AMAZING! And it is very sturdy and has real weight to it. Get it, you won't be disappointed

I love it! Its kinda hard to play especially in the higher chamber. Stl is the way to go. I will always buy an stl. My second one and I love them both. Its not much bigger than a 12 hole!

I regret buying!
This seems like a good idea since it is so inexpensive and you really want to explore the double ocarina. The problem is, the higher register doesn't play hardly at all! I have tried for a few months and still cannot get consistent sound from the higher register. The lower register sounds pretty nice for plastic. I wish I had been able to return it, but I tried to give it a chance. It looks nice, but plays lousy. Ceramic in my opinion is the way to go. I bought a focalink 12 hole sweet potato and I love it. Other people have kinder comments about this plastic double ocarina, however, unless I just got a defect on mine, I would say save up your money until you can do ceramic. They have the nicest tones. I will save up for a ceramic double AC from focalink next time. STL does not accept returns, but maybe amazon will, buyer beware.

A very good value
This ocarina does a great job for the price. It doesn't compare to more expensive ceramic doubles, but it is a very good value. It is well tuned and has good chamber balance. It looks a bit toyish, but looking at the photo, you already know that.It is light and handles condensation fairly well. When condensation does happen a quick blast of air while covering the voicing takes care of the issue. Dollar for dollar, it's the best deal you're going to find on a double. Here's a sound sample : [...]
