Great product, easy to use and well worth the money

Great at reading ABV and showing original % for beer/ cider/ wine. However, if your brew goes below 1.0 ABV, you are still going to have to pull out a Hydrometer to work out your second ABV of a brew and work out alcohol content.That said, this is far quicker and easier than a Hydrometer during fermentation and far less disruptive to your brew. Just make sure you add water to zero it to the correct setting (all explained in the manual).

One of the best things I have bought for my homebrew, zero and adjust with water, clean and add a few drops of beer, readings have been spot on every time, no mucking about with the hydrometer anymore

Easy to use and very well made. Little box that came with it is very nice piece of tool

2 weeks after brewing, I compared the reading of my fermented beer against a hydrometer against this product.The hydrometer showed 1.008, and this product showed 1.021, even after calibration with distilled water. Totally inaccurate.

Not sure how accurate it is. Gives a very different reading to glass hydrometer.

TERRIBLE DO NOT BUY!!!I bought this for my husbands birthday, he used it a week later - the product is faulty and I cannot return it!
