The product is very sturdy and just what I needed.But the pictures show a weather proof, clear, outlet cover which was not included, the other ( low voltage adapter box ) part pictured is included. I had calculated the the total cost of post to include this box. But I'm happy with it.It has 3 addtional little parts which are very nice and were not picture or mentioned: 1- A cover, screw in cap in case you don't use the top threaded hole and dresses it up, in matching plastic color. 2- Two little plates that serve as a little floor for the rectangular opening (bottom side) and is held in by twoscrews into the plastic. Very secure. The one plate is for 120V application, has 1/2" knock-out openings to route up to three 1/2" conduits. which fit very snuggly and supplies additonal support for the structure once burried. Nice little extra.This post is a very professional touch for my patio electrical connections which includes a duplex 120V outlet. One flood lamp on top which is directy wired, and on the opposide side of the post, I will hang a 12V patio light tansformer. The transformer will hang a a single screw on the cover plate provided.So I can connect:1 Water Fountain 120V1 Patio Lighting Transformer (120V to 12V)1 Flood light on top I control all the power to this post from a switch installed 56 feet away. So the post only has power when I want it.

Sturdy construction and very durable

Sturdy post and good design, but I received this with a box floor with 3/4" knockouts that was 1/2" too wide to even fit inside the post! Must have been meant for a much wider model. I also bought a smaller post model that came with two box floors: one with three 1/2" knockouts and one with two 1/2" knockouts that was meant for use with a low voltage set up. I was able to use the 3 knockout one in the 19-inch post to connect my two 1/2" conduit lines to. Then I used the 2 knockout one on the smaller post and connected my one conduit pipe there. I would have rated this much higher because the design and quality is good, but after being sent the wrong box floor I had to drop the rating.

A really nice landscaping product. Really enhances the look of our paths and walkways as well as adding extra features such as additional power outlets for outdoors. Have to admit, it’s beats the heck out of a dull gray utility box, LOL!

I used two of these as junction boxes at each end of my pool to hook up underwater lights and they worked great! The key is to make sure your conduit comes up at a straight 90 degree angle so you can sink this post deep enough to be sturdy. The bronze color is great and disappears into the landscape. Very nice product!

This product was used to connect two water features in my garden. It blends in well with surroundings and is functional and well-suiited for multiple connections.

Love the garden posts, very heavy duty, looks great - much better than using a 4 x 4 post to mount an outlet box to. - we use several a year
