This is a great little charger if you want to carry a couple of extra batteries and charge them outside the camera. I bought a Sony a6000 camera, and it is designed to have its internal battery charged in the camera. Thats not how I like to do it, as it means the camera is out of action whilst this is happening. This great little charger solves that problem, it holds two NP-FW50 batteries and charges quicker than waiting for the camera to recharge them. Simply plug the USB lead (that was supplied with the camera) in to the USB socket of the charger, and away it goes. There is also a lead supplied with the charger, but I didn't use it in this instance. It can also be charger from the USB socket of a computer or car. Two very clear lights come on to show its charging, with bars indicating the progress of the charge. When they stop flashing the batteries are ready for use. It can be used with one or both batteries in the charger, which is very handy. It is much smaller than I was expecting, and appears to be very well made. Online registration of the Guarantee can be carried out, and I have heard reports that the batteries are as good, if not better than the Sony one that came with the camera. This is small enough to carry in your camera bag, and seems great value for money.

Recharge two batteries, at the same time, using a battery pack - nothing beats this. I am a beginner photographer and always was hassled because of not having enough battery to make more photograph, this product solved the issue and as much as I can say the quality of the batteries is even better the original ietm Ive got which is from Sony A7!

Having recently bought a Sony RX10 I needed a few spare batteries and a charger as the camera only charges the battery via a micro usb. This is perfect for travelling etc.

One of the batteries failed completely after only a few cycles. It no longer charges either in the camera, or in the dedicated charger. The other battery still holds charge but lasts about 30% of the original.

Anyone who has used a A7ii for long shoots will tell you, you *need* one of these style chargers and as many extra batteries as you can get for travel. This charger and batteries have held up extremely well and have not let me down, they live in my camera gear bag. Have used Neewer accesories with other cameras as well and would definitely recommend.

I purchased these for my Sony A7III; however, although they do work, the camera notifies me that I am using a non-sony battery and might be incompatible. They certainly do not give you the same performance as the Sony original ones; however, if you are looking for a cheaper set of batteries, then Neewer makes ok products.

Received today after buying a Sony A6000 which unlike it's larger cousins does not have a battery charger pallet included.I needed a spare battery and ordered this as it had two batteries and a charger pallet which frees up the camera to be used instead of sitting around for a few hours while the battery charges in the camera.The product is well made and comes in a nicely presented box along with a charger pallet and necessary cables though you still need the Sony AC charger/adapter that comes with the camera.Took very little time to charge (much quicker than charging in camera).It has handy indicator lights to show the charging state and it shuts off when the charging is complete.As to battery life I'll have to wait and see how that works out in the next few weeks.
