It does what it claims - two to three hours - a good deal less than the 6 year-old battery I replaced. But also a lot less money than an Apple battery if you can get one.18 months later still working. Two hours is what they advertise and if I had noticed that at the time of my order I probably would have passed. I have just under 200 cycles on the battery and it is as it was when new, but two hours is just long enough to get you into trouble if you don't have a charger or an outlet handy.

I had no issues installing this battery in my mid 2009 Macbook Pro 15 inch. The tools included were correct for my system and the pictures included in the box showing how to remove the connector was helpful. The battery came fully discharged, but charged fine in a few hours. I have only done a few discharge cycles, but it looks like it will hold a charge for 4 to 5 hours.

Right out of the box, it was obvious that the necessary screwdrivers needed to replace the battery were not included. Specifically, it didn't include the pentalobe screwdriver that is in the product image, so make sure to purchase that separately or you're in for a rude surprise. This is most unsatisfactory, and the deceptive product images should be changed, and the product description should specify that it does not include those parts.ETA: I contacted the seller and they did give me a $5 credit for the missing screwdriver, so that's a plus. But, after a month of use, the battery life is not that great, less than 2 hours with light computer use. So, while I appreciate that they did resolve my issue, the battery itself isn't all that great.

Replaced the stock battery that came in my 2009 Macbook Pro (15 inch). Works great so far. My battery life went from about 45 min to 3 hours and 45 minutes. Will update if there are any issues.

I think this battery is just fine to replace a bad battery and make my old MacBook Pro work some more.

Battery received and installed as per instructions. Works ok for the price, but a few negatives to note:1. Supplied screwdrivers do not fit required internal screws for battery (requires pentalobe screwdriver)2. One of the mounting holes in battery did not line up for laptop installation, luckily, 2 others did, so I was able to secure the battery.3. The battery works much better than the worn out apple battery in my laptop, however, even after calibrating the battery, the computer shuts itself down even while the SLODA battery reads about 20% remaining.For the price, it really is a good buy, but defiantly not a 5 star product due to the minor details stated above.

I have been using for the last 7 days and it is working just fine. I have two macbook pros, a mid-2009 2.66 core 2 duo (with 8gb RAM and SSD) and a mid-2010 2.4 i5 (with 8gb RAM and HD). I tried in both. Here is what I have experienced: in my mid-2009 it was only giving me about 2 hours and a half, but in my mid-2010 it is around 5 hours.Update: After less than 2 years, it is not lasting even 1 hour.

I'm using this battery more than a month already and don't have any problem with it.
