Great Product and amazing customer support.
Amazing product , does so much for the price. Very easy to use and complete with life time updates. The product is very well supported by its seller Leoglobal. Unbelievable tech support. All of my requests or questions were answered in a timely fashion. I tested my vehicle one day and after I had finished,I sat in my vehicle playing with the scanner and browsing through its features and forgot it was connected to the vehicle. I mistakenly hit the recovery tab and the scanner rebooted. I received an error message. I contacted Leoglobal and they was very concerned about the quality of the product that they sold. They asked me specific questions and I also sent them videos as I reboot the system. It occurred to me later that the problem was probably because I rebooted the scanner with it plugged into the car with the engine running . Leoglobal did replaced the scanner. I am so happy with the replacement and I will take great care of it. Thank you Leoglobal for your amazing customer support. Buy this scanner guys, you won’t regret it. There product is well supported. Launch 129X - Rocket science made easy
Besides the fact it has a large, very visible screen for easy reading, the Launch 129x also gives you the choice of using the touchscreen, or manually finding your way through the menus using the push button controls. The rubberized, soft padded casing is rugged enough to withstand potential damage. Starting the unit for the very first time does require a few minutes entering information, connecting to WIFI, and completing the updates, but well worth the wait. During the updates I familiarized myself with the unit reading the easy to understand user's manual, and quick start guide. The first time I connected it to my vehicle, the unit pretty much did everything by itself. Found my VIN, then did a complete professional report of many systems and sensors. Using the "ODB II" and "I/M" options in the menu, I was actually able to see more than 200 different sensors, and modules (varies depending on the vehicle), check the values, AND see some of the functions in graph mode as the car was running. For possible problems, Launch has built in one nice feature that can record a specific graph of a running engine i.e. misfire, or a sensor as it is malfunctioning. Also, you have the ability to make, and save a screenshot of a malfunction code, or graph. The Email function is very convenient in that the unit sends an "Inspection Report" internet link to your, or the customer, Email account. There you can access, save, and print this report. When you're finished, everything can be packed in the carry case, and put away for the next time. All-in-all, the Launch 129x is well worth the money, and will keep me from paying outrageous costs to repair centers. It would be nice if the unit would generate a PDF file of the report and sent per Email. Maybe in future firmware. I hope this will answer most of the questions others might have, because I would highly recommend this unit to anyone I know.

Not a ready to use one and done reader. Plan on spending more money after this purchase
After you buy the reader then you have to pay for each and every app and vehicle. Also you have to purchase a subscription to unlock the later model computers. So don't expect to be able to use this out of the box. Plan on paying another 100$ for software subscriptions and a bunch of downloads to make it work. Once all of the software and unlock code subscriptions are purchased and loaded this works very well. Pretty professional unit, just plan on time to set it up and install the software needed before you can use it.

Great instructions you can read in minutes.
I give this unit five stars because it is well made and was very easy to set up. (You have to down load and update all the vehicle versions. It took 25 minutes or so.) I scanned a 2002 Ford F250 no codes tripped. I also have a 2022 Honda Ridgeline I need to scan, just haven’t had time to do it. I am confident it will do well. Oh it has a touch screen and it is a good size screen. Very easy to use and has the ability to clear 12 codes… only time will tell how it will hold up, but it looks rugged enough for a long life. Good buy for under $500.

Super user friendly and quick!
The first thing I noticed about this Launch tool was how quick and user friendly it is. The touch screen works just as quickly and accurately as a modern tablet or smart phone. The dual speakers assist with confirmation when selecting menus and make it easier to quickly navigate menus. It was easy to setup the wireless configuration and update the software immediately, as it walks you through all the steps. I easily connected to multiple cars and it automatically identified and communicated with no issues. Reading and clearing faults worked great. Live data is transmitted quickly and accurately. The graphing function updates very quickly and smoothly and is also very easy to read. Emissions readiness is easy and quick to view as well. I was not able to activate components on the vehicles that I tested, such as placing electric parking brakes in workshop mode, but I'm sure that Launch will add these features with future updates, as this is a brand new device as of now.

Appears that the listing info is a little stretched
So I already have the autel 906 for work but was wanting something a little smaller and more basic/simpler one to for just home use or for quick checks when I don’t wanna lug out the big ol 906 and I had the old crp123 years ago and from what I remembered it was a great little scanner especially for around only 100$ and so I started looking at the Crps and just so happened to be a lighting deal for 199$ tbag day and I figured misewell jump on it and unfortunately as of now I’m not super happy with it. First turns out even the lighting price of 199 wasn’t a bad deal but not super good like I thought when I found a bunch on eBay for like 180 that even came with the tpms tool which from what I saw in the reviews on the Amazon listing it sounded like they would send you one of you left a review but I got nothing with mine. And man if it even did half of what it said it could do I would be a happy man but I took it to work the other day (one of those smaller type car lots) so we have basically a little bit of everything there so I was able to test it out on a large variety of different makes/models/years because I am definitely aware no scan tool is going to do every single option it has on every single car. Some cars simply just don’t offer certain things but with my test on tons of different makes and models was not good. Almost none of the extra features this was supposed to have that would make it worth the 200$ price worked at all. Like I mean I’d be happy just being able to read codes, see live data, and be able to read abs/air bag lights which I remember my super old crp123 literally was able to read the airbag and abs and even trans codes of almost every car I used it on. And like why I think this is pretty much false is like when I tested it out on a Nissan it told me to get the correct style plug and plug into the data port if I wanted to really see anything more then basic obd data which clearly must be a glitch or something because this definitely doesn’t come with the adapters or does it even mention that anywhere. Like my autel has all these adapters that alllows you to plug right into the data port and get all kinds of info but if that’s what’s needed for this one to show me any decent info then this was a complete waste because then I’d probably have dang near 500$ into if I bought all the diff ends and at that point misewell get a nice bi directional one. Don’t get me wrong this is a very nice regular obd scan tool that is smooth and fast and I love being able to email or print the report right from the scanner but for me this almost seems like a glorified basic obd scanner which if that’s what I wanted then I could have just ordered a standard 40$ one that would basically do everything this one does but not be touch screen or have wifi which are nice features for sure but not 200$ nice. I’d simply prefer a more functional tool vs one that “looks cool” or has cool options. So I’m still on the fence. I might give it another try but I’m thinking it’s most likely going to be returned and I’ll just order a cheapo like 50$ one that will essentially do the same exact stuff this one does. Also I’m very concerned this is the Chinese only model which isn’t quite a bit issue until I ever run into any issues I’m basically screwed so keep that in mind your also essentially getting no type of warranty or anything with this scanner. No matter what it says what will happen when you call customer service and give them the scanner info they are basically are going to give you chinas number and tell you to kick rocks. If this thing was about 75$ cheaper and actually came with the tpms tool it’d be perfect but at almost 300$ Regular price id expect it to at least do air bag and abs but nope your much better off either just spending a couple hundred more and get one that’s not only bi direction but will even do immo and many other features or going the other way and just spending like 50$ and getting one that does the same exact stuff as this one. Wish I knew how to even get in touch with the seller to maybe see about getting some help/info or maybe a replacement or partial refund or something but I can’t find where too so I’ll most likely will just be sending it back. Oh and one other smaller but fairly annoying issue is there is literally no type of like kick stand or anything at all so it can be difficult in some vehicles even getting it propped up properly to be able to see it even.

Awesome scan tool, but not necessarily as described so buyer beware and read this review
I have made 3 separate purchases of these, 4 units total. The first unit I got I set up quickly and started doing the updates that were available. I used it several times on various cars and it worked really well. I especially liked how I could share the diagnostic report via email with one of my engineers to look at. The size is great, it is easy to use very convenient. I ordered 2 more FROM THE SAME LISTING for a pair of my field techs. When theirs arrived the packaging looked the same, except it had a sticker on the back that read "CRP129x V2.0". I looked at my box and it was missing the "V2.0" designation. Researching the "V2.0" I discovered that is what makes it NEW for 2024. V2.0 has more memory, larger battery, and more reset options. Using the same listing I ordered another unit so I could have the V2.0 also. The unit I received WAS DEFINITELY NOT NEW FOR 2024! The packaging was different and at least 4 years old, no V2.0 sticker, it had less available memory, smaller battery and as soon as I powered it up in order to verify this, it required an operating system update. I attempted to contact the distributor a week ago through Amazon prior to writing this review, but I have not heard from them. Beware of what you receive, inspect it. I would have never known had I not purchased multiple units and seem the difference between them. I am returning the noticeably old unit, not sure who I will buy the next 5 or 6 from yet, but I will check those too.
