This is a great tire shine gel that lasts a reasonable time (I'd say 2-3 weeks or possibly longer in dry weather). The key to using this product is to use it correctly and if you do so, the results are pretty good.Before you apply it, you will need one of this and I cannot recommend this tire gel applicator foam enough, from Chemical Guys, on sale in Amazon. Get these and it will make the application much easier. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00BJCHTFW/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1My review is based on my first hand experience applying this product using the Chemical Guys foam applicator and a bunch of tips I got from various reviews on here as to how to correctly use this product and I used most of those tips to correctly use the product.Step 1: Apply the product on to the applicator. Best rule of thumb as to how much product to apply would be to kind of fill in the ridges of the black side applicator face (this is the end you'd use to apply product). Notice right after you pour product on the applicator, the foam absorbs it so be careful not to excessively saturate the foam applicator.Step 2: Once you made a pass at all the ridges of the applicator, just apply it on the sidewall by exerting some pressure. So the clue to whether you've got right amount of gel is it should not be splattering or squeezing out (this would indicate excess product) of the foam applicator. Just wipe thru the whole sidewall of the tire exerting some pressure on to the foam so the absorbed product disperses.Step 3: When you move on to tires 2, 3 and 4, use half of what you put on the first time. Remember...the first application has adequately saturated the applicator face so there is product left in it so less product is good. To err on the side of caution, put on sparingly for the subsequent tires and if you find there isn't enough product absorbed in the applicator, you can put on more.Rinse and repeat this for all the tires (2, 3 and 4).Couple of application tips.This stuff is messy (I found out while trying to wash the foam applicator after application) so be careful not to get the stuff on your hands. Maybe gloves would be a good idea.. Wash the foam applicators carefully with soap and hot water later. Probably soak it in soap and hot water for 20-30 min before you wring out the applicator and you probably have to do this a few times to get the applicator clean. The tire gel is messy if it gets on your hands and it looks slimy when it comes out .Also I followed the tip of applying this in late evening or night and let the gel dry just to avoid any possible sling. This worked for me well. I just put it on in the evening when I know I won't be driving the car till the morning. I cannot say if this product slings or not per se right after application and driving but I didn't want to find out the hard way so I just applied it and let it dry overnight. I've had no sling that way.Couple of other things.You can put on two coats if you want after 10-15 min interval. Make sure not to use excess product.And lastly, the part of the tire that sits on the ground while you apply..if you want to cover that, just move the car forward a feet or two after you are done with all the 4 tires and then go back and cover that ground. It is kinda difficult to do when it is on the ground.Verdict: This is a great product if used right. Doesn't take much time to do it but be sure to follow the right application tips and your tires will be nice and shiny.I forgot to take pics the first time but next time I will take some pics and add to this post.I am also yet to discover how this product stands up in wetter places but kinda hard to test that in AZ. Monsoon season is coming up so maybe I'll find out them how this holds up in the wet.

I've been using this stuff for years.Shines good. Sticks well. Doesn't sling, and will last through a light rain / water.Smells good, like grapes, and will also work really, really well on latex rubber.

I have always loved the "wet" and "shiny" look of tires which have been dressed. I have used a lot of foams and sprays over the years. The results are great with most of them. The longevity can vary quite a bit. My main complaint is "overspray" and "sling". With this Meguiar's Tire Gel, the problems of "overspray" and "sling" are gone but the application does take just a little more time.This 16 ounce bottle should last a while.As tried, the solution is a good consistency, (not thin and runny, but not too thick as well). This worked well with my foam applicator as I don't want to drip onto my garage flooring. It has a pleasant scent during use. After just 1 coat, the shine is very good. I find it as shiny as when I use spray on tire foam.Overall, I find this to be ideal even if it takes a few minutes to apply.

This stuff is awesome!! I got recommend this product on a forum, and gave it a go. I sued a tire dressing applicator along with this product and the results were awesome and glossy! Very minimal sling, and smells good and applies easily.
