Received 7 roots, planted them and saw growth within just a couple of days. And glad to say all seven are doing well. I planted them in late spring, but I wanted them in the ground as soon as possible since these take long before being able to get a harvest.

They came in on time they don't look diseased. Or. In bad shape, look very healthy. I am planting them today. Thank you very much.I will be buying more. I paid for 5 I received 11 Totally awesome. I put episode salt. Down around the roots and old dried Chicken compost.They should come up shortly Thank you I just bought some more. Update, it's only been a few days and I already have five of them poking up out of the ground.

Updated- Eventually all of the crowns have sprouts now. Hopefully I’ll get some asparagus in a couple of years!Older review: I planted the crowns a day after I received them. Dug little trenches and followed instructions. It has been about 4 weeks and so far I see 4 of them have a tiny shoot growing up out of the dirt. However, the crowns were stinky and a bit moldy looking but I soaked them in Water about 30 minutes and then planted them any way and now they’re growing. Something ate the top out of one . Hope it lives? I wonder what would eat them? It’s Ok now it grew back!!!

The asparagus had humongous roots but I was worried about the crowns cuz they had some damage on two or three of them. We'll see if they survive. Also I got 6 crowns instead of 5 so the makes me happy if one doesn't survive. Sorry no pics of them. Forgot...

Well, packaged and healthy

Was really all in on this project. Dug a pit with sand, peat moss, perlite, etc. Dug an overflow filled with rip-rap, in case of torrential rain (so as not to promote root rot). Two of 5 sprouted, got a total of maybe 7 would be edible sprouts. Waited until the next year, just in case, zero results occurred, save your money!

Received an extra asparagus crown in this order and all 6 have come up. A+ Seller!

The product arrived in good time. Two out of the five came up right away and the others came up several weeks later, but they all came up eventually. I am pleased with the roots.
