Pac Man World Rally - PlayStation 2

Came in good condition with the original books. Works in my old ps2 well. Seems like a fun game!

Back in the late 90s and early 2000s, Namco gave us Pac-Man World, Ms. Pac-Man Maze Madness, and Pac-Man World 2, among others. SO many of the racetracks are based on levels from those great "millennium games". I feel like I'm replaying my favorite moments from those games, and it's pretty exciting to see all the obstacles and shortcuts that they've put out for these racetracks (Special congrats to the Funhouse of Terror.)

My 13 year old son and his friends have a great time playing this adventurous Pac-Man game. I feel good knowing there is not any cursing or other activity in which to worry about. I am very comfortable just letting my son and his buddies play this game whenever they want to without supervision. I have not played the game myself; however, have observed the kids playing and they seem to always have a blast!

Game arrived in wonderful condition. The game itself is really fun in multiplayer, but it can be a chore to unlock all the characters.

Overall, I really liked this game. It's similar to Mario Kart, but most kart racers are, which I think is fine. This game gets it's own unique flavor through certain Pac-Man elements that are included in the game, such as the new versions of the old Pac-Man music and the pellets that you eat as you drive down the track. Eat enough pellets and you turn into Super Pac-Man and can eat the other players, who have turned into blue ghosts.I only have one complaint with this game, and that is a lack of challenge from the computer opponents. On easy mode, for me anyway, the other racers are generally way behind me by the time I finish the race. I haven't found the other difficulties particularly challenging either (except for the 4th difficulty level, which I haven't unlocked yet).The good news is this is a racing game, and that means it's meant to be played with a friend so you can race each other. That's where I've spent most of my time, and I've had a blast. Unfortunately, it seems that you have to play in single player mode to unlock the extra tracks and characters, and I believe you have to complete all the tracks in each difficulty level to unlock everything. I haven't gotten that far yet, though.So, if you've got someone to play this game with, I can wholeheartedly recommend it. The tracks are great, and I love the game's unique mechanics. This game should also be great for younger kids because of the toned down difficulty level. More experienced players will probably mainly want to play with a real opponent though.

Love Kart racers? Love Pac Man ? Look no further. I didn't even know this existed before stumbling across a Youtube video. It's your basic Kart racing game but set in the Pac World. My sons and I play this more than any other racer we have.
