I’m struggling to get back on to keto and I’m looking for a low-carb snack to help me get into the groove. These seem to help. They’re not the greatest tasting, but they kill that urge for carbs. I like them. My wife doesn’t — but she’s skinny.

I just made my second order. I am vegetarian, (not vegan), and not a fan of eating a lot of sweets. Most protein snacks, (with the exception of maybe nuts) that are meatless are cookies, bars, flavored protein powders, which are sweet. I wanted a savory protein snack. Searched around in physical stores and Amazon, and stumbled upon these. They are not horrible. I kind of have a high metabolism and get hungry at work before it's lunch time. These take care of my munchies.

I follow the nutritional snacks circuit pretty closely, and was super excited to try these. I followed them on Instagram for a while, and was waiting until I felt like spending this much money on snacks. Finally went for it (I bought two separate flavors actually), and was suuuuper disappointed. The reviews had been so good that I was expecting these to taste like regular food, not like the typical protein after taste and texture grossness. Unfortunately, I couldn't even finish the first bag of either flavor. I had one handful of each, and only because that's how much I decided to stick in my mouth at once. The taste was mediocre and the texture was awful. I was not a fan AT ALL, and now have a box of wasted food and am out $30. I wish I would've paid attention to the return policy first. I understand not taking back food, but ugh now I don't even know what to do with all of these extras. I don't see anyone wanting to actually eat these. I'd rather count my macros and fit in normal chips like I've been doing all this time anyway.**UPDATE**I added a star based off customer service. After I wrote that review, the company reached out to me and immediately offered me a refund. That in itself made me respect them as a company, but then they offered to send me some samples of other flavors to see if I might like those better. I was shocked when about two days later a giant box of full sized snacks was delivered at my door. I had about three bags of every single flavor. Now, it took me a few days before I opened any, just from how gross I found the first order, but I finally went ahead and tried a few other flavors. To be honest, I still don't like the product (the texture is still off-putting), but I did find the pizza flavor better than the other two I tried. I brought the box to my boyfriend since I wouldn't be eating any of them, and he didn't hate them as much as I did, but he still only ate two bags and then never touched it again. So bottom line, I don't like this product, but I respect the brand for reaching out and trying to better the experience for me. For that reason, I'd give them another shot if they came out with some sort of other style of product, but I don't think I'll ever order any crunchy stuff again.

Got the sour cream & onion, it tastes like sour cream and onion. Not as sweet or salty as you might find a normal snack though. The texture is much like eating Styrofoam balls as others noted. It is low carb and high protein, w/o any sugar alcohols or stevia etc. But I don't think I am going to order more.

There are a few things I miss from my pre-paleo days. One of them was simple lunch of a sandwich accompanied by a bag of potato chips. It's nothing that'd qualify as "guilty pleasure," certainly not enough to go off-diet for, but... yeah, I kind of miss that.Over time we all have found bread alternatives, so we can once again have healthy sandwiches (or at least something that scratches that itch). But that crunch-to-accompany? A savory snack? I've been on the lookout. This one comes close.Without question, these are CRUNCHY. Don't eat these while you're listening to someone speaking softly, or you won't hear what they say. They're puffs, though, and thus lightweight in the mouth. Plus they really do taste like sour cream and onion, not the fakey taste that accompanies standard potato chips. And, obviously, these puffs are healthy -- low carb, high protein, gluten free, and so on.Ultimately it's a matter of what you think of the taste. My husband thinks they're great. I like them -- definitely 4 stars "like" -- but a little goes a long way.If want to stay keto and continue to nosh... it's worth a try.

these are amazing tasting and the nutritional values are great. Like all other lower carb snack items you kinda feel like cost wise we all are being taken advantage of. Only bummer is they are too much compared to the crappier snack.

The Cheese Flavoring is "almost" close to normal cheese puffs. So that isn't the problem. The problem is the texture as your chewing. It isn't airy in the sense of what a normal cheese puff or ball would be like. instead it breaks into crums in your mouth and then feels / seems odd the more you chew. Also the Aftertaste is not that great. The Initial taste is pretty good, but the longer you chew (which you need to due to the texture) the flavor changes and becomes more "stale" and is not that great.You do get a good portion in each bag. So that IS a plus. but the cost per bag is really high.

I know they’re Keto and all but omg they were nasty. They were like a cheesy texture in the mouth which was fine but the taste was horrid. They taste like plain fluffy balls of oil and chemicals. Honestly I feel bad even being this honest about how bad they were.I will try to explain it best I can.... first they’re fluffy like a cheesy, then you taste this old cheese flavour but quickly that turns into a chemical flavour, then they start to melt? And tasted like I had a teaspoon of oil in my mouth, then there was a chemical after taste.

This is the most repugnant protein-anything I've ever had. The smell was so strong. I was hoping more for a flavour like Pringles pizza where you can taste the sweetness of tomato and the sharpness of cheese. Nope. What basically happened was this when I opened the bag: a whiff of pencil shavings, which I later identified as oregano. It just smelled like pencil shavings. When I bit one, it was extremely chemical and odd, it was supposed to be cheese but it was way too salty and I just smelled pencils. It was a weird juxtaposition and it was much better if I closed my nose to eat. When I chewed it, it wasn't pleasant like a puff, but it did scrape and clean my teeth...I wouldn't buy this again but I would volunteer as a food tester because I can't believe a food tester allowed this to go to market. I've eaten other protein chips and puffs and other things but this was so awful, I'm not sure what I'll do with the rest of them. Maybe turn into breading but I'm scared I'll be eating something like pencil shaving chicken fingers

YUCK!!!!! I'm not sure if mine went bad or the bag was popped or something but mine were terribly stale. I'm going to try to return this and warn others not to order it. So gross.

OMG these are AWFUL. They seriously burn. I couldn't even swallow them. They had a weird fruity chalking taste. Got them in time, delivery was great, but I would not buy again

These are a decent snack with a Big Crunch but the flavour was a let down. There no classic “sour cream and onion” flavour, but there was an onion taste. The final texture after you chew it up is a bit different from what I expected, but overall it’s a decent snack if you are craving that crunch, just not if you want a classic sour cream and onion taste.
