SENTRY 35 Day Flea and Tick Dip for Dogs, 8 oz

This solved our problems with "no see ums". These are much smaller than fleas and the flea shampoos were of no help. I don't know if they are outside of California. This is an after shampoo leave-in-rinse that works. We don't towel the dogs off but air dry them so the maximum Dip stays in place. The fragrance is neutral as opposed to medicinal or like a pesticide. Now we can sleep without listening to our dogs scratching all night.

We are not a big fan of chemical flea treatments, but the fleas this year are so bad this summer, we decided to try it. It does work. Found that it took 2 treatments done within the allowed time frame per the instructions. The natural flea killers just are not working.Would recommend this product, but did find that it worked best as a dip, not mixing and spraying which is an option of this product.

My headline pretty much says it all. This product does not work, much to my surprise. Dog was scratching ten minutes afterapplying dip as instructed. He was still soaking wet, and yet itching like I simply splashed water on him. I'm really surprisedthat Sentry would put their name on this product. It can only hurt their reputation.

There are still fleas all over the seven dogs even about a week after dipping and I did it a little strong. However, maybe I have some invicible crop of fleas as nothing seems to work, even what has worked in the passed like frontline plus and advantage. Cap star is the only thing that seems to work, as it makes the dogs start raining dead fleas, but it's too expensive to use for long. I have in mind a few other things to try. Next I'm going try comfortis, which I have been reluctant to do because of the long list of possible side effects, but I have to find something that will work.

I had high hopes for this product given the reviews for it but I did not receive positive results. I treated my dog twice using this flea dip but it nothing to stem the problem - the fleas on my dog didn't die. I can't recommend this product.
