So first off there are a lot of people who keep saying that it doesn't cancel sound. It actually does. The reason people say it doesn't is because they are not aware that there are 2 types of headphones, open mesh and closed cover. Open mesh (the one that looks like it has a speaker on the cover) WILL NOT cancel noise. It's made to go give better instrumentals, deeper base and an overall better quality and should only be used at home when it's quiet. Also open mesh will let the music leak a bit more than no mesh which doesn't diminish the quality but makes it easier for other to hear your music. Closed mesh will have a slightly less sound quality but will give you noise canceling.Second these headphones are bulky. Not super bulky like you'd look dumb for wearing them but bulky enough that you couldn't comfortably wear them around your neck.Third, these headphones (while they can be used outdoors) are really just made for you to listen at home and not in public. Since the casing is wood, water and moisture can damage them.Fourth, the sound quality is great but I've had a few of my friends try them and I have to say that for what you're paying the sound quality could be oh so slightly better, this doesn't make them bad by any means you'd just expect 100$ headphones to be full HD sound.Fifth, the ear pieces as well as the headband are insanely comfortable. Out of my 24 years on this planet I have never worn headphones more plush and comfortable than this. Most headphones after a few hours will make your ears hurt. I used these yesterday for about 8 hours with 0 pain. If you take anything away from this review know that these headphones are like pillows for your ears.Sixth, the finish is beautiful and gives me kind of a retro style vibe. They are aesthetically pleasing and the finish is smooth like a babies butt.Seventh, the headphones come with both a phone mic aux cord and a standard aux cord, both are very high quality. If you want the best sound use the none mix cord.

These where a gift for my boyfriend who loved the headphones, due to the fact they where made out of wood, major score. The ear pads are supper comfortable, you could sleep in them, the only downside, was the volume switch on the cord. I wouldn't get this to go higher, we tried multiple different devices, and no luck. It was very soft, I wasn't happy about that considering how much I paid. Trying to look for a volumizer to go with it, sucks we have to buy extra parts just to hear, I'm determined to make them work for his happiness.

The headphones themselves are quality and good they work great, I am very disappointed in the second set of chords that have the aluminum wire strain resistance on them. I used them ones while I was walking to work, an they just stopped working. They only work to the point where you can hear the base of the music, and not the vocals or anything else of the song or music you're listening to and it makes a slight fuzzy sound over the base.

Man I wish these were tuned a little softer on the highs, build quality and bass are exceptional. sound isolation is also great. stock pads are decent but openings are too small for my ears. brainwavez round memory foam pads make comfort good. added a foam disk to help tame the highs and its helped. still bright but tolerable.

Highs were fatiguing, lows needed moderate boosting. They are loud, but unbalanced. I am an audiophile (a professional musician), and while all headphones require a ‘burn-in’ period, it will never resolve these issues.Secondarily, many rave about the build quality of these cans. I’m not seeing it. Did they change manufacturing companies mid-run? I am of the opinion my set was simulated wood (plastic), and while the ear and head pads were comfortable, the metal hinging and casing was 2nd rate finishing.Bottom line: expect more at this price point. These were returned almost immediately.

Returned these same day I got them. I realize they are open back, but unless you are planning on sitting in a sound proofed room you will hear everything around you. They look sharp and have decent sound quality, but you will need to use an equalizer on your device to make them sound worth the money. Comfortability wise they are lacking, noticeable pressure on jaw bone.

Very pleased with the headphones themselves, great sound and comfort. Only issue is with the cords, specifically the shorter of the two, as it's already getting static and dropping off after just a few months.

Nice and sturdy. Good sound deadening ability. Sound quality not stellar but still above very good. Pleased with product. Edit..did not receive walnut finish but black instead.
