This was my first time trying a product from this brand and I’m hooked! I’m 27 years old and I’ve always had HUGE blackheads around my nose, cheeks, chin and forehead. I’ve always had issues with dry flaky skin and terrible skin texture. It didn’t matter how many times I used a physical exfoliant, how many masks I used my skin just looked dull and dirty. I first tried a glycolic acid from a different brand and was ok with the results but I wasn’t blown away. THIS glycolic acid serum from Balshi derma-ceuticals is worth every penny and I love the ingredient list as well, no bs straight to the point powerful ingredients. It’s potent don’t get me wrong, it took me a few weeks for my skin to stop tingling after application but the results are worth it lol My skin now is smooth, I have no blackheads left and my skin just looks lively and healthy. I receive compliments from ladies and gents on how great my skin is, I don’t wear makeup hardly ever 👍🏻 It definitely boosts your confidence 🙏🏻 I really wish I had a before picture but trust me when I say this product WILL change your skin for the better! You won’t be disappointed!

I like this serum, but it feels and acts more like a peel than a serum. In the past, serums felt like light, soothing treatments I'd use--especially at bedtime--to improve the overall health of my skin. I feel a not-so-subtle burn when I apply this, and although it reduces over time, I just thought it beneficial to people who have thin or delicate skin to warn them that this has serious astringent properties.As I said, I like it, and I can tell that my large pores are shrinking and my overall skin tone is improving after about a week of applications. It is effective, but it isn't soothing--at least not until the burn subsides.

I waited to write a review on this. I wanted glycolic acid. I already have the L'Oréal glycolic wash/scrub which I love. This feels like it's working. Burned a lot at first. I have sensitive skin and I break out easy. Also mostly oily but normal on cheeks (except in winter when dry cheeks). I use 1pump. I began by using it every 2-3 days for my skin to adjust. Now use it daily. I have another serum I use anymore night. This is for morning. I top it with Jan marini antioxidant sunscreen. This serum doesn't smell great, but the smell goes away pretty quickly once on. Not to thick or too thin. Doesn't cause me to break out (which by itself is a miracle). Seems to help with my fine lines/wrinkles when I use it consistently. At home lately, I wasn't great at it (the whole "covid ruined my skin routine" excuse. Also, for what I was looking for, I didn't want to spend a ton. I didn't want the cheapest either, bc well, you know.

This product is superior. It does exactly what it states if does. It does burn and feels much more like a chemical peel than glycolic treatment, however I like that my face looks clear and feels tight after using this product. I pile on tons of moisturizer after I use this serum. My skin is very oily and this helps to clear up blemishes, blackheads, softens skin, tightens skin, and smooths wrinkles slightly. I don't believe in miracle products, but this powerful serum has made me very pleased. I also use this, very successfully, as a spot treatment. This is my first time using this product.

I really wanted to like this, but within a minute of the 1st application, I felt my my skin tingling, then burning, then my entire face turned red (like a really bad sunburn). My skin eventually calmed down after an hour, but the reaction absolutely petrified me. I immediately tossed it into the trash. I know everybody’s different, so maybe, it won’t be intense for some; but it was definitely too intense for me.

I've been using this product for over 7 years now, and I usually purchase it right from the Dr's office in Florida, If I go with out it at any time, my skin loses it's glow. I get so many compliments on how great my skin looks....really happy with this! if you never used glycolic before, you may feel a tingle but that's normal.If you use in the am, use an spf of at least 30 on top to protect your skin, If you use at night just use a moisturizing cream on top...it's the best!!

I am 61 with very dry skin. I am looking for a skin care regimen to keep the lines and wrinkles at bay, and restore some vibrancy to my skin. I tried SMOOTH Glycolic Resurfacing serum, and after two weeks I am beginning to see results. I have always been careful about sun exposure so I don’t have sun damage or deep wrinkles, but I would like to have more vibrancy. I began using the serum once daily at night, but I have very sensitive skin and experienced some redness and irritation in the excema areas. I backed off to every other day in those spots and will work up to using it daily all over my face. Even considering the every other day use, I am noticing a more youthful smoothness around my eyes and cheekbones. I’m looking forward to seeing how my skin improves with extended use. I’m very pleased with the results so far.
