This is a short prequel to HIS TO POSSESS but works fine as a stand alone.Jessica is a by the books kind of woman that doesn't rock the boat, break the rules or indulge in dangerous activities. In other words, her life is kind of boring. When her car breaks down and she has no phone service she does what she has to and starts the 5 mile walk back to town...in high heals and a sundress. When a motorcycle comes roaring down the street she isn't sure whether to hide in the bushes or flag him down. Falling flat on her face wasn't one of those choices.Storm is a motorcycle riding, tattooed rocker and he knows he can be a bit intimidating, but he can't just leave this young lady out here on her own. He knows he's safe but leaving her at the risk of someone else who may not be isn't an option either.Once they finally get to point of trust Jessica accepts that first impressions can be wrong. But the few past experiences Jessica has had have been pretty ho-hum in the sex department and she isn't sure she wants to disappoint Storm. It isn't long before Storm proves it may not have been Jessica with the problem in the past.Hot, sexy, and wild!

Jessica’s car breaks down about five miles from town. She starts walking, when she sees headlights and tries to hide. But an animal scares her, she stumbles into the road, and almost gets hit by a motorcycle. Storm is a sexy motorcycle rider and offers to take Jessica home but she is wary of him. He finally convinces her to let him give her a ride and then asks her out. She refuses until she sees him playing with her brother’s band. He has just been hired as the new guitarist and decides to give the boyfriend route a try. Even though he’s told Jessica that he doesn’t plan to stay in one place for long.Short story that is a prequel to HIS TO POSSESS. I think twice it has his side but the rest is Jessica. Wild and kinky sex.

I would give this story 10 stars if I could. It was well thought out, had strong characters and a solid steamy sessions. Stable, non-risk taking Jessica has her car break down on her on a desolate stretch of road miles from town. Her salvation comes in the form of tattooed biker man Storm. He convinces her to let him take her home and the wild ride begins. Though this is short enough to read in 1 sitting, it will stay with you much longer. I requested this ARC so I could provide and honest review and I am so thrilled that I did.

Omg, I couldn't put this hot little number down till the end. Only to find out its not the end. So, so sizzling and I really need a bad ass musician of my own.As bad a Jessica's luck is. How lucky is she to find a guy like Storm. I want one and I'm going to keep looking after reading this book. Im not a spoiler so all I can say is its so incredible sexy that I couldn't stop reading till the very last words.

I was given an ARC of this book. All I can say is OMG I need a tall cold glass ofwater. The ssexual tension between Jess and Storm is scorching hot. This is a prequel to the series His to Possess and well worth the buy and read. Grab yourself this buy and get ready for one hot n steamy read.

this book is gripping from the start..couldn't put it down. read two opal carew books and loved both of them.

I read His To Possess a while ago and I loved it. Taken by Storm is a prequel to that story and it tells the story of Jessica and Storm. Storm literally came and took Jessica “by storm” like the title suggests. He drove by to rescue her when she was stranded on the side of the road and they eventually fell for one another. I love how he treated her and how he helped her release her “inner bad girl”. This story is hot, hot, hot just like everything else Opal Carew writes. I highly recommend this book to everyone who loved His To Possess. Awesome and can’t wait for more from Opal. 
