So I bought this desk after spending countless hours online shopping around for a desk that I could use as a makeup/vanity area. I was initially going to go with the desk from Ikea that had the famous Alex-style drawers for the base until I realized the shipping costs and how long it would take to even be delivered. Trying to find another desk that would fit my criteria of what I was looking for that was also within a reasonable budget was a lot harder than I imagined, but I am overwhelming surprised at how much I have fallen in love with this desk.When I bought it, I was skeptical that it would sturdy enough to even hold the new lighted vanity mirror I bought because I read other reviewers commenting on how it wasn’t very sturdy and that it said it could hold up to 100 pounds because my new mirror weighs around 70-ish, but it holds my mirror without any problem and I’m able to put so many other things on the top of my desk and in my drawer without any problem or hesitation.I would like to add though that it was a bit complicated for me to put together by myself. I tried, but the instructions were a bit confusing (particularly the part where you have to put the track on for the drawer to slide) so I’m thankful that my boyfriend was able to step in and figure that part out. Lol.Also, one of the pieces for the drawer came in with the white paint scraped off on the edge, but I contacted Amazon who got me in touch with the actual brand that makes these desks and they were super polite and helpful and sent me a replacement part right away without any difficulty.My new makeup/vanity desk is absolutely gorgeous and I’ve had so many compliments. The glass top is incredible (and much needed for easy clean-ups from spills from the liquid makeup, etc.). The drawer is super spacious and pulls out super nicely. It’s sturdy, holds my 70+ lb. makeup mirror with ease. It’s clean looking. Plus it has enough room underneath it that if i wanted to eventually just add the Alex drawers by itself or something similar, i probably could. Absolutely recommend.

So sturdy. It’s metal. Totally thought from the photos it was wood. But it’s even better than I thought. Worth every cent. Paint is perfect and glass has a white backing. Husband put it together fairly quickly. Highly recommend

I ordered this desk without reading product reviews...and I'm glad I did. After I ordered I happened to look and tons of people were having trouble assembling this. It got me worried that it was going to be difficult.When the desk arrived I began assembling and figured I must be missing something because it was not difficult whatsoever. I figured I'd finish and the whole thing would fall apart.This desk takes about 1.5 hrs to assemble, maybe quicker, but it is by no means difficult. All of the parts fit perfectly if you follow the tips below:1) Rule #1 of assembling anything is do not tighten fully until everything is in place. This gives you leeway to move things about and make sure they are perfect.2) When assembling; before attaching the drawer slides to the main frame, assemble the drawer (this part is easy, 15 minutes tops). This will allow you to get a better feel for how it operates, so when you are assembling the rest it will be no problem.3) When you are done with the drawer, attach the slides to it and then the other slides to mainframe. The top rectangle should still be fairly loose and the slides should be 1/8 inch loose at this point. it'll give you leeway. Slide the drawer into place and THEN tighten everything up. 2 of the screws will be concealed by the drawer but you can move it out halfway to tighten.desk is very sturdy and looks great. would highly recommend.

I was looking for a white desk to match my white vanity mirror. I never thought it would be as complicated as it was. To narrow my choices even more, I specifically wanted a glass top so I wouldn’t destroy the desk with makeup/water.Brick and mortar stores had nothing in stock. So, Amazon it was. I had some choices but not much. I ended up going with this desk and I’m pretty glad I did.One drawback from this desk is that the bottom of the glass is painted white and it scratches off VERY easily. So while placing the top, you have to be extra careful with it. I managed to get 2 small scratches but they’re not too bad.It’s not as sturdy as I would have liked but it’s not that flimsy. I don’t plan on moving it at all anyway.I also didn’t bother installing the drawer since I have the cabinets and just wanted a simple table.On to how it looks. I absolutely love it. It reminds me of a Clinique counter. It reflects a lot of light from the mirror.

I put this together myself, pretty easy to assemble. I really love that the glass is a true white rather than the greenish tinge seen on other glass top desks. My daughter loves it, and there is a nice size drawer that pulls out easily. I gave this desk a 5, but really I’d like to give it a 4.5 because the drawer bottom is made of flimsy material. The manufacturers do supply a support bar so it wont likely collapse, but the wood could have definitely been thicker. As long as there isn’t anything heavy in there it should be fine. But at this price point, the desk is well worth it overall.

Great desk, solid, glass still looks great. the drawer is very big and useful but most chairs with arms will not slide under easily. Good size, but not a huge desk so check the specifications.

Love it, very sturdy and i love the style, everything about it. Very modern!

I liked many things about this unit. It is not too big and not too small. It is just right for my condo home office. Love the tampered glass and storage space. It also arrived before schedule. Highly recommend this unit.

love, takes some time to build but it very high-end quality. Worth the money!

Like other reviewers, the damn drawer is too short and does not fit. Will try contacting the manufacturer for a solution otherwise I will be putting my Macgyver skills to the test. It does look nice, but come on, the damn drawer has to fit!
