These are nice "candles;" but, no one would ever mistake them for real candles. The plastic pillars are quite thin, very slick and shinny, and lacking the usual thick roll of fake wax at the top--the thin plastic is shaped, but it has no depth. I had planned to use these in my Christmas table centerpiece, but seeing them, I immediately changed my mind and went with traditional candles. The other "quirky" feature of these candles--at least the set I received--is the flickering LED bulb.The flicker is so precisely timed that it's difficult to watch--eerie.My second option of use for these candles was to place a couple in my hanging basket filler. The basket hangs outside my kitchen window and is protected from wet weather. However, the basket does catch some wind and I found that the candles were so lightweight they couldn't remain upright. I also discovered that the control unit that is supposed to operate the candles up to a distance of 20 feet--doesn't. The basket is about 2 feet from my window and I could not turn the candles off; I had to go outside and use the controller about 4 inches from the candles--max.

My experience with Fizo, Inc. White Light Designs was exceptional. Their customer service was wonderful right down to encouraging me to pick up batteries so I could use my candle right away. Who thinks of these details!!!! The shipping was right on, I received it just as they had indicated. I like the look of the candle itself..., the real wax gives the overall appearance that it's a fire burning regular candle. I like that you have three candles that are tiered. One feature that surprised me was the remote control..... I had never used a remote controlled candle before.... It was fun and oddly satisfying to be able to put on and off my candles with such ease!! The reason I'm giving my order 4 stars is that when you put the candles on it's an Amber Light glow and I simply prefer a white color. Overall a quality purchase I feel great about making!!

I bought this as a gift for my friends Mother, she is older and stopped using candles around the house for safety reasons. She loves these candles, and has used them regularly since Christmas 2015. The remote control makes it easy to turn them on/off and the one remote works all three candles at the same time if they are close to each other.Pros: They are realistic and pretty and very easy to use. Long lasting batteries when in use (see cons). One remote can turn the 3 of them on/off at once or separately if you wish to place the candles around the room.Cons: You must switch off each candle (switch underneath the candle itself) when not using them for periods of time. The battery will drain if you only have them turned off by the remote while the candles switch is left on. Each candle takes 3 small LR44(?) batteries and are expensive to replace. The batteries will last a long time when the candles are on and even left 'switched on' for short periods of time.

I am thouroghly delighted with these candles ! Every night I enjoy relaxing to the soft glow of candle light , however it can get to be expensive and the candles don't always burn properly so I have to trim the wax or sometimes start with a new candle ... With these I am guaranteed a gentle glowing atmosphere !! When I recieved my package it was fun to unwrap each candle seperatly and have the feel of real candle wax , which gives it that warm glow . The added benifit of having a remote to light or turn off is so convenient for me , a wonderful bonus is when the candles are turned off there is no " burning , smokey" smell afterward . These LED candles surpassed my expectations and I am completely satisfied with this product ,even the gentle realistic flicker completes the detail. I look forward to ordering more in the future as gifts for my friends, knowing that they too will be delighted to have the ease of pressing a button to change their home atmosphere into a soft,relaxed ,inviting atmosphere .

Recently I purchased similar candles at Kohl's because they were on sale. That was a mistake. 😞 The not working properly and weren't worth the price I paid for them.When I ordered the LED candles from the vendor Fizo, they came securely packed and on time. They even followed up to check on the status of my order.Couldn't be happier with these candles, they look real, have a great soft glow and flicker to them. I don't have to worry about the material it's made of, they don't get too dusty where it becomes difficult to clean off. Simply just wipe them down with a cloth.Love these candles and very please with the vendors professional and timely manner in handling of the order.Thank you! Absolutely love this candle. In fact, bought 2 more after having this one the first night. It looks and feels like a true flame candle. The flicker of the bulb really sells the look. It puts off a beautiful warm light. The remote let's you put it in a location that would be inconvenient if you had to pick it up to turn on/off manually. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the fact that I wish it has a timer like many of my other flameless candles. Even without the timer though, I highly recommend this candle. It arrived on time and was well packaged. The candle is approximately the size of a large grapefruit.

Great candles, and really can't complain because of the cost. Super affordable in comparison to other battery operated candles. Large in size and the remote works (and I bought two; each remote works for both candles, which is nice. I was afraid each candle may need it's own remote but that is not the case). The only thing that could have been a little bit better is the flickering of the candles - It is a bit more mechanical looking than other battery operated candles I own. Would have given this product 5 stars had it not been for that detail. I would recommend these. Can't beat the price.
