Works perfect for 2006 Toyota RAV4
Very reasonably priced, arrived next day, works PERFECT for my 2006 Toyota RAV4. Don’t waste $628 (only ONE key) at the Toyota dealer, it’s a rip-off, just buy this blank keys, call your local car locksmith, to cut the key and program the chip cost me $125 and 10 minutes total ( for TWO keys ). Very happy with this product. 10 STARZ.

Perfect fit for our 2008 Scion
These were exactly what we needed for our 2008 Scion xB. While we had plenty of spare keys, we never had an OEM unit and had grown used to manually locking and unlocking the doors. After cutting, the keys fit the doors and ignition perfectly, and programming the fobs took about 30 minutes. Now, we enjoy the convenience of remote locking and unlocking, along with the added ability to activate the panic alarm when needed. This option saved us over $200 and the hassle of spending hours at the dealership, not to mention avoiding the inconvenience of being without transportation. The buttons can be a bit sluggish at times, but overall, it’s a fantastic value. Highly recommended if you’re looking to create spares for your Scion!

Worked Great
Since my local hardware store was not willing to cut a blank key that was not their key, I decided to put the new internal part from the Amazon remote into my old remote. Now I have the original key with new parts. I got the instructions from the recommended www sites and printed the instructions. I tried several times but it did not work. I went on You Tube and found a video which showed that I was going to slow. There are timed requirements (within 5 seconds put the key in and out two times). I got the pace down and tried again and it worked great for two original remotes. I decided to put the old parts into the new Amazon remote. I programmed it using the working remote with the original key. I used the new blank key when I could and the cut key when I have to turn the key to the on position. I used the new uncut remote for the last two steps. It worked perfect. I am hoping to talk Home Depot into cutting this remote so I have a spare. Another alternative (without cutting the new key) is to program the new Amazon remote using your original key and just use the Amazon key to remotely open the car door. Why I I happy? I have three remotes that work the car’s locks for under $30 instead of paying Toyoda upwards $400 each for a new remote. Now that I have this knowledge, I would recommend that you replace the battery and reprogram the old remote to be sure that doing this alone will not solve your problem first. Either way I am very happy with the results.

Not programmable keys for the scion xd
Keep the inner workings of your old keys, if possible. These keys are not programmable. Possibly due to the frequency these keys are programed with.At least the cost of these keys was great.

1 outta 2 still beats dealership
Programming instructions were incorrect but you can find instructional videos online. You must cut blank key before it can be programmed at home. Blades fit into door locks & ignition perfectly.Came with 2 keys. Was only able to program one of the two . Still cheaper than dealership but quality is identical to OEM.
