Don’t feed the trolls…
I managed to get my hands on a Kaos trap for my son at the “normal” retail price for the trap after 3 weeks of trying so I figured I’d throw a few tips out there for other parents.First, Gamestop appears to get a fresh load of Kaos traps in once every 2-3 weeks. You will have to buy a group with 2 other traps to get the Kaos trap but you will pay retail for all 3 traps. I managed to get mine on Monday of last week and I’ve seen on forums that they had another load in 16 days earlier. Based on other messages I’ve seen and my own experience they seem to be placed online around lunch time.Second, check Best Buy. They will not ship the traps to you but if there is a store close to you with Kaos traps it will allow you to do an in store pick up on the item.Third, wait until the wave 4 of traps are released. With that release there are 2 triple packs being released that have Kaos traps in them. I haven’t seen a release date for the next batch of traps but you can see pictures of the packs on other websites (search: New Traps Triple Packs revealed for Trap Team).Good luck, I know it can be frustrating.

Not Bad on its Own, but the Prices Add Up...
To fully use all the content available in Trap Team, you will need 8 Trap Masters (large Skylanders with impressive crystal weapons) and 9 Traps (crystal figures used to hold bonus characters). You get 1 Trap Master and 2 Traps from the Starter Pack, so you'll need 7 Masters and 7 Traps (1 from each of the remaining elements). This means you'll be spending about $140 (minimum; estimating $15 per Trap Master and $5 per Trap, not counting any tax or shipping costs). That's a lot of money. However, that's only if you plan to spend the money on all the content. If you just want an extra Trap to play a few bonus characters, that's fine too. The Air Trap does exactly what it's supposed to do; it holds Air Element villains. Whether you want to spend a few dollars on a single Trap, or you want to go all-in and get everything, this Air Trap is definitely a nice piece.

Thrilling stuff
I like the color, this is for the Skylanders trap team game it traps the villains in it and makes a noise. It came in great shape and as expected.

Great addition to the Trap Team Skylanders game
Skylanders has a really good marketing plan going on.Once my son started playing the games, he started wanting every type of Skylander and trap. I believe these only work with the Trap Team release. In that release they are critical to playing longer. Each trap can hold a villain. Once trapped players can use the villains to fight. This is a good way for them to continue if the hero losses too much life.Villains are not given health, but rather timers, and damage removes extra time. Once the player switches back the the hero, the villain's timer starts to recover.I recommend these traps for the Trap Team player.

Rare Trap
Got these for my nephews. Their in love with Skylanders. The one that we traveled to store after store for was Chaos. It was always sold out or they didn't carry it. I was glad to find it on Amazon. Best part was it had a second trap they had wanted. I don't remember which one it wad lol I don't keep track or up to date on which one is which. But it was exciting to see the look on their faces when they finally got the only two traps they didn't have after looking for months.

Not happy that Activision has made this trap so hard to ...
Finally got a Kaos trap via Amazon for $5.99 but not before I bought one on Ebay for $40. Not happy that Activision has made this trap so hard to come by. Seems to me they are leaving money on the table and creating a scalper market in the process. As for the actual Kaos trap, it is pretty cool. Kaos is a powerful character when you finally get to play him.

He gave us a hard time at first but it was a good lesson on patience he learned
My son waited for this trap because we refuse to pay $50 for a $6 toy. He gave us a hard time at first but it was a good lesson on patience he learned. The trap does what it's supposed to do; trap Kaos. But even without this trap, it's possible to beat him as my son discovered by just playing the game without the trap. Nevertheless, I'm rating this 5 stars for doing what it's designed to do and for making the game more interesting. But with all the nickel and diming Activision is doing, we may not be giving them any more of our money for the next version.
