DELTA FAUCET B510LF-SS, Stainless

I am having to tighten up the handle once a week. Very disappointed.

This is an excellent product for the money. It is about the best you can get in this price at a little over 70 dollars. You can get a similar looking chrome one in this brand and other brands as well but most of the cheaper chrome models are actually chrome covered plastic which they do not tell you. You can feel the weight difference if you compare them.

This is a nice faucet that feels well built. I have two problems, though: there is almost no warm setting. When moving the handle even slightly left of center, the water temperature abruptly changes from cold to hot instead of the more gradual temperature change I had anticipated. There is no internal hot water regulator to make adjustments as featured in many other faucets. The other problem I encountered was when I removed the aerator when first running water through the faucet after installation as instructed, water ran backwards inside the faucet (it’s hollow) leaking water into my sink base/vanity cabinet. Make sure you reinstall the spout after you remove the aerator before turning on your water. These are not problems that I have ever experienced with any other bathroom sink faucet that I have used, maintained or installed.

Product works fine, however it has a lower flow then the faucet I replaced. It does show the water spots on the faucet quite prominently. I should have purchased the chrome looking faucet. But that’s on me.

We purchased 2 of these faucets to replace a couple of cheaper ones that were beginning to corrode and fail in our guest bathrooms. In our other master bathroom we had spent a little more for better quality faucets from Delta in a "Brilliance" brass finish (N520-PBWF). They were installed 18 years ago and still look new. Though it does help that we have a water softener to keep hard water from affecting the finish. Delta does not make the older model faucet in brass any more so we chose a similar style in stainless steel for the guest bathrooms, also with the "Brilliance" finish. So glad we did as they look very nice. Only took about 2 hours to remove the old faucet, clean the mounting surfaces and install the new Delta faucet.

Looks nice. Made in China. The plastic used in the stopper valve broke so I called Delta and they quickly sent a free replacement part that worked fine. Nice to know that Delta has good and fast customer service. Would give it five stars, but the part failure makes me slightly concerned about the potential future failure of parts on this Chinese made product.

I should probably rate it 5 stars, but I am disappointed by the stainless steel appearance. It is darker than I expected. I guess I expected polished SS. It appears dark against the white sink. I wish I had ordered chrome.But the faucet works great!!!

It is a good single-handle 4" faucet, I like it. However, 1. when package is open, it smells like from closet with Naphthelene (bug-repellent), I hope it is not something harmful. 2. sprout is not a on-piece metal, so it it possible for water to drip through the seam (seam is not completely sealed..
