Surprised it works so well with MacBook too. Was expecting for MacBook to keep showing annoying non compatibility message.!!

The media could not be loaded. This charger I have had for ten months and it sparks and makes this sound when connected. It is unsafe to use and dangerous as you can see from the video.

I've owned macbooks since 2007 and this charger design is basically the same as ever, although there is a round blue LED dot on it. The packaging was with a little instruction booklet, and the item appeared to be new and in good condition, and felt more or less like an Apple product. I've been using this with a 2016/17 A1708 13" Macbook Pro for about a week, and have also used with a pass-through PD USB-C hub without any of the issues others have written about here, namely to do with heat and build-quality, so I'm happy with the purchase, although long-term I will of course see.

Had this for over a year now and it's proved robust and reliable. I wanted a spare charger to keep in my travel kit incase there was ever a problem with the Apple one and this was the right price to fill that role. Compatible with Apple Euro/US plugs too.

Worked well for about 3 months. However then noticed when it caused a spark so binned it as I didn’t want to risk damaging my laptop.
