Kikkerland Potted Pen Phone Stand (SC25)

I was super excited to get this in the mail as yet another purchase from the Buzzfeed Amazon list as it looked cute and functional and I was hoping to keep the electronics situation somewhat organized in our living room. Upon arrival I was surprised with how light and somewhat cheap appearance, but was hoping that people wouldn't look too close as it's quite apparent that the grass is fake (duh). It also does not hold an iPhone on it's side like it's advertised to do, unless it's an iPhone 5s or lower... an iPhone 6, 6s or [god forbid] a 6+ just won't fit, even if you remove any protective case enclosing it. I tried to prop it up vertically, but the grass sticks out too much and tends to make the phone just fall over in that position. It does hold pens in the grass (as long as it's a lightweight and cheap pen) and I use the channel to hold my ring and other small items for the one on my nightstand (I ordered two). If you have a nice pen that has a little heft to it, it'll just tend to fall over and out of the grass. But that's okay because it's still somewhat kitchy and cute and we get comments on the one in the living room. It can also hold phone cords somewhat by stuffing it in the grass if you want to control the cord chaos on your side table that is coming out of your multi-port charger... The one on my nightstand I use to charge my iWatch as it nestles into the "grass" and will stay put as long as I don't jostle it too much. I also have a tendency to put miscellaneous hair ties in the grass if I'm too lazy to put them away... So if you don't mind spending $10-11 on a kitschy little knick-knack that'll hold small bits and pieces, or if you have a phone the size of an iPhone 5 or smaller, then this is perfect for you.

I bought this to hold insulin needles. I need two a day and would forget if didn’t see them in plain sight.It reminds me of the styrofoam that florists. I don’t think it will last forever as more holes are made, but the grass keeps the needles standing pretty well.I would not recommend this to anyone who needs a serious pen holder or phone holder. But if you’re not too serious, it’s fun to look at and use.

It doesn’t really hold pens that well. They tend to fall over.

I got this for my office desk to hold my phone and as a "cute" space for my pens/pencils. I have received a lot of compliments, "That's so cute," etc. but as for holding a lot of pens/pencils, don't count on it. I have been able to keep 3 ordinary pens in it, it won't hold anymore. As for my phone, I have a "6" so it will only stand vertically on end, not horizontally as pic. shows. The pic is probably showing a "4" since they are a lot smaller. Just FYI, if you are hoping your phone will fit. It does fit your slide out "Yankee Candle" travel fragrance tin though. Overall, it is a cute "tchotchke" for your desk or wherever you happen to place it. So for "cuteness" and originality, it gets 4/5 stars from me. For function, I would say a "3."

Okay, not a phone stand. They need to take that off the title of the product. Unless you have an iPhone 4 or earlier, your phone will not fit. It’s more of a trinket dish if anything. It’s cute to have and hold a few paper clips or if you need to take off your rings during the day. You can’t fit a lot of pens in the holder but it’s enough for my favorite one. The inside of it is styrofoam so that’s what you’re basically stabbing your pen into. I would put this in a gift back if anything.

Super cute, looks exactly like the picture except... is not big enough to hold my phone as pictured, and can only hold like 3 or 4 pens max.

I am always losing pens at work. This works to keep them together. The little tray around the edge works to hold paper clips. I wish the tray was wider. I wish the iPhone could stand vertically. . And wish that my glasses that I also lose frequently could sit in the tray.

This would have been nicer if it was longer. I have an iPhone XR and it didn't fit properly horizontally which is why I planned on using it. XR is smaller than the other phones just for reference.

Dudé mucho por los comentarios acerca de que es muy pequeño o cosas así, como es un regalo no pude sacarlo, pero en realidad no es tan pequeño como dicen. Digo, si tienes un teléfono de los últimos años, no cabrá. Pero es un lindo artículo para adornar.Satisfecho, llegó en 2 días y todo bien.

Más pequeño de lo que parece y además con materiales de baja calidad.Hay varios productos de está marca que se ven interesantes, sin embargo, después de haber visto este en particular me deja algo de dudas para adquirirlos.

Really cute. Doesn't entirely fit my iphone 7 when I place it horizontally, but works okay when placed vertically. You will need to push the pens to the plant so it would hold as well. Other than that, its aesthetically satisfying.

Aunque se ve lindo en el escritorio, la función de portalápiz no es nada práctica pues los lápices realmente no se sostienen. Tienen que ser de muy poco peso para que realmente cumpla bien su función.

Me gustó la originalidad del accesorio, aporta color y detalle al escritorio. Creo que luciría más si la base fuera de cerámica blanca. Gracias
