Kichler Standard Series 60W Transformer in Black for Kichler 12V Lighting Systems, 15E60BK

Been working like a champ since 2017 so 5 years. I have about 20 watts running off of it every night all night long. So perfect and also easy to set.

Does the trick. I bought 2 of these. I wanted the less expensive 45 watt Malibu as I've used many of their power units, but they are going out of business and the units are no longer available. So I'll compare them to the Malibu units.First - they work good right out of the box and yes they are Kichler units. The Malibu unit has a separate photocell that can be positioned is a good location. These have a built-in photocell beneath the clear plastic control cover. I had to put tape on one of the covers as a walk light was shinning on the photocell.The cover is a little awkward especially if the unit is mounted close to the ground. You have to get on your knees to change settings.The settings knob label is an eye test as the numbers and letters are about 2 point. I have to guess - Let's see, off is all the way ccw and 2 hr is the third position so 3 clicks to the right.But these are the best on the market for this price level - unless Maribu comes back.

15-20 years ago I put in a Profile landscape light system from my porch to the door.For all but the last 2 years it worked perfectly until the transformer stopped shutting off.Replaced with the new digital model of Profile transformer, only to have it fail within 4-6 months.Disappointed I kept going back to the store I bought it from for a replacement until it failed.An electrician friend suggested Kichler.Had difficulty finding any at the local hardware stores, I was able to find multiple models on Amazon.I didn’t need anything fancy and picked up the lower end model.Once I got it it looks just like the original transformer I had for my original light set (analog not digital).It’s been great

With the new 3 or 4 Watt LED lighting you don't need a big transformer, but I have a few issues regarding this one. First, there is only one two wire terminal for attaching the lights. If you have 2 directions for your wiring, you have to splice them together before connecting to the transformer, instead of the convenience of multiple inputs. Second, the screws provided with the wall anchors (I was hanging this thing on brick) are so short, and with the recessed hanger holes on the transformer, you have to go to the hardware store for longer screws and heavier-dutier anchors. So much for Amazon savings. I just place the transformer on the always on setting and the Honeywell switch does the rest!

Bought 2 of these. 1 still works well but the other no longer responds to moving the dial, nor to the photo cell. There was some condensation behind the lens of the photo cell, so I put it in the sun in hopes of it drying out. It did, but still, the only way I could control the lights coming on or off was at the electrical receptacle. Short warrantee - expired 2 months after purchase.6 months later: the 1 that was still working has now died. No response at all. Will not buy Kichler again.

Replaced an identical transformer that was damaged when it was hit by a chair during a windstorm. Works great with our underwater lights in our water feature.

The transformer was delivered on time, packaging was good.Seems like the transformer will last, it was easy to install

Works great with several different functions and timers. The only issue I had was that I wanted to mount on masonry screws, which have a little bit deeper heads. However, the slots on the case aren't very deep so I had to slightly cut them out more to fit the screws. Overall, very pleased with the product in general.

This purchase was a replacement part. The original device was provided by my outdoor contractor. It lasted for 3 years being used daily in the harsh Canadian weather. Since I could find the same model I bought this unit without further thinking. Without surprise, it works as expected.RD

Exact duplicate of 9 year old one that had failed. Got my lighting system going again in minutes with this replacement.

Received it, hooked it up to our low voltage driveway lights and it worked one day then failed.
