This is a great concept but doesn't work with my dogs. They managed to get tangled up in this "tangle free" leash in about 5 minutes. I like that I can walk all 3 of my girls on the same leash but they get so tangled up I have to keep stopping to untangle them. Kind of a hassle. Still a well made leash. Very durable and the handle is comfortable.

I purchased this for my 3 small dogs - all abound 10 - 15lbs. Works perfectly. They don't get tangled, they are all the same length so I don't have any dogs trying to get ahead of the others. I also love that if I only walk 2 dogs I can unclip one of them so that I don't have an extra clip dangling. Great purchase especially for the price.

So, I ended up returning this product simply because it was too heavy for my Chiweenie pack. But the quality is excellent. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this item for anyone who has dogs that are like 20lbs or more. You could probably handle dogs up to 50lbs...maybe even well behaved 100lbs dogs. The fabric is very sturdy and the clasps are large and solid.I was kind of bummed to have to return this and it took me a while because I kept trying to find ways to use it with my little bitties!

Don't let the phrase tangle free fool you. This leash does indeed tangle, and quite often at that. I believe the problem lies withing the clipping "key" ring holder where the additional leashes are attached to. The transition between each leash get's caught causing entanglement. Of course, the more properly trained your dogs are, the less I can see this happening. I wouldn't recommend or buy this product again in the future.

The attachment binds, so the dogs tangle as badly as if I had three leashes in one hand. Can't make a turn or have one dog trade spots in the pack before they're tangled up. Does pretty much nothing, except tether the dogs to each other, which as you walk gets to be a shorter and shorter span as they coil up in a ball of nylon leash. Could not be designed any more poorly, for it's intended purpose. Returning it promptly, complete waste of money.

It’s convenient in so much that I can walk all three of my dogs together but make no mistake, this absolutely does tangle. Puppies are learning leash etiquette but they will dodge in front of each other and this is not tangle free as advertised. Still great value and convenient. Leash is great quality too.

2 mins into my walk and it’s tangled just like if I had 3 leashes. Not worth it!!

At first my dogs kept getting tangled on our first walk, but now that I've figured out the right way to hold the leash, it's flawless! My dogs get a good amount of space for themselves and get to roam put a little without having to worry about 3 separate leashes.My photos with the tangles are from our very first walk. Now on our 5th within the last week, there is 0 tangling!

I have 3 dogs that are used to walking together. Having one lead means a lot less tangling but they still manage some. The good thing about this lead is the clips at both ends of the leash straps. If they do tangle quick and easy to unclip to de-tangle. Also in the car I can use the clips to secure them separately once removed from handle end and then when we arrive just clip them back on to handle.

Does tangle a little.
