Starting with an explanation for taking 1 star off. The description says "semi-precious stone". Semi-precious stones include amethyst, topaz, peridot, citrine, aquamarine....I would also include stones such as jasper, onyz, quartz, turquoise, malachite, azurite...I would even go so far as to call a Petosky stone from my home state of Michigan a semi-precious stone. These are a resin composite otherwise known as plastic.Do these plastic stones have a purpose? Absolutely! They are flashy and colorful and attract the eye. They have a great price point, $3.00 each and would make a nicely set cab stone at an economical price.These were purchased for students to learn to bezel set stones. They are great for teaching jewelry making.I'm very happy with this purchase as I went into it with knowledge of what I was buying. If you want a look and don't mind that they are resin, I would highly recommend them for price point and impact.

These were purchased to practice wire beading with. It has been fun deciding which wires would work best in what areas of the cabochons. The blues are stunning, and the stones are a good size to learn a new craft.

Color isn't as vibrant or intense as you see in Rockclouds display items. Pretty but disappointed.

I was looking for stones with turquoise and lapis tones. These have no lapis tones.

These will make beautiful necklaces.

They are pretty cabs for the price, but I ordered red and got hot pink instead. I can understand some color differences between pictures and product but the listing clearly says red and these are definitely either pink or an extremely faded red.

They were very small for the price! Only reason they got a one star is because there wasn't a zero star choice!
