If you are building home shelves and looking for cheap pipes. These might be your answer. BUT if you are super specific about length or height, you might want to look elsewhere.Pros:- Cheaper than real iron pipes you find in hardware storeCons:- The thread are considerably shorter then the real pipe. By at least 0.5-0.75 inches on both ends.- They are also much thinner pipe then real iron pipe.- The quality of the pipe is lackingCONCLUSION - I will not use these that bear more then 5 lbs of weight. Also, if you are building pipe furniture and have specific length and height requirements but still want to save a few bucks, buy these BEFORE you plan cause they will be shorter then the real thing.I used these for part of a curtain rods and they are fine but I used the real pipe (from local hardware store) when I’m building wall shelves and tables.At the end, cost vs quality vs functionality

I've done some projects by using the pipe purchased from big box stores. Now that I've discovered the Amazon supply, I will never go back. This stiff is WAY cheaper than what you will get locally. Now, to be fair, the stuff in the stores is meant to be used as designed, for plumbing. Once you break way from that need, the cost to manufacture and produce these items goes WAY down, which equals a much lower price point for the end user. I started with one main project, but since have branched to several different DIY projects and this stuff works great. I used 1" pipe to make a handrail for the stairs, 1" pipe for my gym and hanging weights, 1/2" for shelves and miscellaneous pieces, and have some upcoming plans using 3/4". Its easy to work with and looks awesome when painted (I've been using flat black on most of my projects).

I use these pipes and the other available parts to make pipe shelving of different widths. These are perfect anddo a great job. I am constantly ordering more. Great for the price. Pretty sturdy and easy to spray paint (if needed). Used for small shelving. They’re holding up pretty well.

These arrived very scratched up, and being black the color is totally inconsistent with the other pieces from the Goovi range. Ordered pipe, flanges, and elbows from the Goovi range ($100 in spend) and quality is extremely inconsistent for all of the items. Pretty disappointed and will look at other options next time.

They match the 1/2 inch pieces that I was attaching them to. They are darker in color than my other parts, but if that does not matter to you, you will be good to go. They don't seem to be as thick and heavy as the other 4 inch pipes that I bought at a local hardware store. I am using these to help form a solution to hanging my barn wood shelves.
