1.6 v is so useful
Lasting well so far after another manufacturer's NiZn batteries failed after just a few charge cycles

Depleted battery changes polarity!
Use 4 cells in a soap dispenser and it works fine but when It stops working, find 3 of the batteries are still above 1.5 volts but 1 has discharged and shows reverse ploarity? Have marked it and recharged and the same battery discharges and the unit stops. I now have two set of 4 batteries and each set has 1 battery which does this. I've got till Jan 31st to return so would like to know if this is a common fault. ------------------------------00---------------------------It's now January 22nd and still discharging so they are going back. Wiil have to find alternative.

Batteries ok - Don't use the charger
Most important: The charger is *illegal* to sell in the UK or EU as it is not CE marked.Bought these Nickel Zinc cells with the charger shown. I have another mains powered charger for NiZn cells and would use this instead. The one provided claims to charge at 500mA whereas my old charger claims to charge at 600mA but this USB charger got very hot in use and the cells in it also got very hot. The red LED on it never turns off when cells are installed but the charger does appear to eventually stop as the cells did cool down after several hours. Don't risk it.The battery cells themselves seem fine. CE marked and worked well so far after one charge cycle.

Lose capacity after a few charges, batteries start to overheat in cheap charger.
Really disappointing got these so I wouldn't have to keep buying Lithium's for the Blink camera's. All 8 batteries I've bought have failed meaning they hold next to no charge after not many recharge cycles. It's a false economy, the lithium's last at least 4x as long and you pay half the price.

They do not hold their charge
The charger does not switch off when fully charged. the batteries are no good to drive LED units compared with lead acid which is a shame - normally this is the problem with 1.2 V , but theses claim to be 1.6V??

Charger not as shown
Charger shown in advert is a 4 bay mains one, what you get is a crappy 2 bay USB one. Item returned so can’t comment on battery performance

Is someone taking the pissI’ve had these batteries on charge for 24hours and the red light is still on !!!I would have given 0 stars but it would not let me

Real power
I had a a weather station with remote sensors that refused to work with Duracell rechargeables but burst into life with these batteries. A soap dispenser operates at a whole new level instead of just groaning. The batteries arrived fully charged showing 1.67 volts. I don't thing the charger light changes when they are fully charged but the batteries work extremely well.
