Rubbermaid Commercial Products Polycarbonate Food Storage Box/Tote, 5 Gallon, Clear, for Restaurant/Kitchen/Cafeteria

This is my second Rubbermaid Commercial Food tote. It's a perfect height as a litter box for a 3 month old kitten that will grow bigger and taller over time. It costs less than the overpriced so-called jumbo litter boxes and is actually much bigger in it's dimensions with lots of space for large cats or several smaller ones.The two overwhelming aspects of this Food Tote for this purpose:ONE, it's heavy and thick and isn't going to crack from the weight of litter.TWO, litter doesn't stick to the bottom or the sides. I have been amazed by this alone and it leaves the box spotless. If you've cleaned out wet cat litter you will know how it tends to stick to the box when removing it and the plastic over time tends to scratch leaving stains behind that even washing doesn't remove.I use a large solid metal litter scoop with a thick rubber type handle (here on Amazon for around $12.99) and this box is amazingly easy to clean. The inside surface is smooth and the corners squared. Works with my scoop perfectly. And the plastic doesn't absorb odor over time either leaving the box itself much fresher.I love these boxes and certainly wouldn't hesitate to use them for food were that my need. But as a litter box, they really are unbeatable.Highly recommend. These are made to last.If you have large cats that are tall and always miss the box, try the 9" or 12" tall box. Sturdiness and durability. But need to know why does it cost soooooo much. The price is super high.

The last litterboxes I had were starting to crack so I wanted to get something different. This is so much easier to clean because the litter doesn't stick as much as it would with the litter boxes. This is large enough for both of my cats to use since they aren't picky. Picture included of one of the kitties.

I used this at Christmas time to sous vide 8-9 large thick cut steaks and the container works perfectly! The material is sturdy and of good quality. One little negative about this container is that it has a lip all around the container which hinders the fit of the sous vide machine a little bit. It does work but you have to adjust the sous vide machine a bit so it'll fit well. Overall it works great if you need to a container to hold a lot of steaks. And the price is really good compared to other ones of the same size from another brand.

Using this outside at the farm to drain waste fluids into. Clearance is a big consideration and at 3.25" overall, that's a very low height (claimed 5 gal cap). The other consideration is, durability. I've bought tubs at WM but, they're cheap and UV disintegrates them in 3 years. This plastic is thick and the outer lip is thick and curves under which, makes a very nice grab point for a oily hand. White is better than black in seeing particles in the fluid and also, is less attractive to spiders and snakes to consider for a home. Not sure the type of plastic used here but, hope it holds up to outside UV exposure? And, only time will tell that...

I've bought several for cat boxes and bird baths for the crows that visit my yard in the summer heat. I believe the people making cat litter boxes have no clue how large cats can actually get. The biggest "cat" litter box is way too small for my big a$$ cat! This box works very well. Highly recommend.

I have a senior cat who has bad arthritis and finding a low sided litter box seemed almost impossible until I cam across these. They allow easy access and are larger than most litter boxes, giving her plenty of room and avoiding accidents outside the box. Not only that, but they are a lot less expensive than any litter boxes that are even close to what I needed. Can not comment on how well they would work in other situations, but if you are looking for a way to help out your aging kitty, these are perfect. :)

Not what I had hoped for. These are not clear. I was looking for some rugged containers for quarantining fish using the tank Transfer method. This seemed like a good option as they are supposed to be clear and rugged. They are not clear as the edges had texture and only left about a clear 12 inch section in the middle. Next the packaging they came in had no padding or protection and a couple feet to slide around. Came with scuff marks and considering it purpose this left it less then perfect for the high dollar price demanded. The lids are okay but not great as they just sit on top and had to be purchased separately. I sent these back. In the end I decided to go with - Cambro 182615CW135 Clear Camwear Clear Polycarbonate Food Storage Box 26" x 18" x 15"- Cambro 1826SCCW135 Clear Camwear Sliding Lid for Food Storage Box 26" x 18"A little cheaper, rugged and clear and has the option to buy a sliding lid. Perfect for my use.

It was what I needed , can't see why it was $50+ dollars

Was very disappointed as there is no lidMisleading as in the description Amazon says both box and lid are made of ..... giving you impression that there is a lid that goes with it.I am usually pretty good a reading everything prior to buying - but found this misleadingThe box is great BUT NO LID.And to find out there is no lid you need to buy separately you have to view extra information
