Vacuum Pump Brake Pump Tester Set Vacuum Gauge and Brake Bleeder Kit for Car with Adapters Housing Metal Handle

Used to bleed the brake on my motorcycle and it did the job a treat. As with other reviews I found the adaptors designed to fit on the bleed nipple didn't fit, so I just connected the pipe straight on to the nipple. It didn't come off but if it did I'd probably use a small zip-tie to hold it in place. It's handy having everything together in a case, and the supplied instructions were easy to follow.I don't think it is sturdy enough for regular trade use but fine for the occasional home mechanic.

the dial reading is a little hit and miss but you don't need it to pull all the rubbish and bubbles through your brake lines.Used once successful blead. much easier to use than some of the large pressurised bottles.No qualms

Case was damaged when it arrived but needed the kit to bleed the brakes on my daughter's car so did not send it back. Contents were not damaged. As commented by some others the adaptors that fit on the bleed nipples do not seal very well, pressure has to be applied to them while pumping to stop air leaking past the adaptor making the job more awkward. Had the same problem using the tube on the nipple without the adaptor. Did not try cable tying the tube as some have suggested. But should not have to. If tube had been more flexible it may have sealed on bleed nipple. Have considered buying some nipple adaptors that are available on amazon for next time. But again should not have to. If adaptors worked OK I would have given 5 stars. The concept is good for the cost allowing brakes to be bleed by one person. How long pump will last time will tell. It would good if spare seals were available as I can't see the seal for the catch pot lid lasting long.

This worked as well and felt more robust than the big name brand one I had some years ago.

It will not hold a vacuum on its own, even with nothing attached. It comes with tubes however if you do get it to create a vacuum then the tubes collapse and split. Not worth the money

Great idea and works very well. There is one problem and that is my car a classic mini does have very small bleed nipples (original) non of the adpators are of a small enough size so you can never get a vacumn

Easy to use, works well. The clear hose shows the air bubbles as well as the colour of the fluid coming out. Saves needing someone to pump the brakes while repeatedly opening and closing the valves. So much easier.
