FinnexStingray Aquarium Led Light 2.0, Plant Growing 660nm Red LEDs, 16 Inch

I grown plants, has a good color temperature, good dispersion angle, and integrates nicely with an automatic timer.I use mine for a terrarium so I can't speak if it is inclined to causing algae blooms.

I'm more than happy with my first Finnex light. The low and medium light plants in my 10 gallon nano tank love it. Makes the fish look good. The light itself has a quality look to it. Some may prefer a black finish to match the default aquarium trim.

Its well built and feels solid. For its size it very bright and the plants seem to love it. In a non establish aquarium you may find it generates some algae, but not a fault of the light. As the tank and plants mature, the algae should go.

Does a great job if you're looking to upgrade your light from very basic LED or incandescent light fixtures. It will grow plants without any CO2 or fertilizers although I dose fertilizers sometimes. Even grows some plants in my reptile enclosure. Definitely worth the value but this isn't the cap for aquarium lighting.

This is a good light, its kept my plants happy for 2 months now even with the thick layer of floaters I've got going on. This tank is 16" and I bought the 16" light rather than the smaller size and I would recommend doing that.

I love this light! I only wish it had the day cycles so I didn't have to use an external timer, but the external timer works just fine. It's bright, has RGB and White LEDs and has a thin, sleek design. That being said, there is always room for improvement.

I first saw this Finnex Stingray 2 at a friend's house who was dividing her java moss to give me some. The moss and other plants in the tank were very healthy and growing like crazy. I asked what the model was and immediately went and bought one.I'll be buying more!

I purchased it for my 5-gallon heavily planted shrimp tank. I have x-moss, draft hair grass and anubias nana petite in my tank, and all of them seem happy with this light. The light is sufficient in case no plants were dying, but my hair grass wasn't carpeting until I start to dose easy green and use pressurized CO2.
