Cool concept
I have been vacuum sealing since the 1990s, initially using and edge type sealer. Years ago I changed over to a chamber sealer which offers a higher vacuum and can handle liquids much better. This unit goes a step further by holding the bag in a vertical position. This allows a bag to be filled with even more liquid. This unit uses a dry pump so it will be louder and and (possibly) take a little longer to vacuum seal a bag. It will also pull slightly less of a vacuum than a chamber sealer with an oil pump. None of these facts should impact a home user who wants to preserve food or for sous vide.

Good but....
Good. The only issue that a that the back has screws exposed that will scratch your counter when you lay it down. Laying it down is a feature but those screws will mess up your counter top. Luckily, I noticed this so I used some 50 cent felt pads where the screws are.

compact size brings chamber vacuum benefits to small kitchen
The media could not be loaded. Pros:Small footprint allows chamber vacuum to be used in a small kitchen.Allows adjustment of target vacuum pressure (max 29.0 inHg).Can use standard hole punch to use any type of chamber vacuum or suction vacuum bag. (Hooks are adjustable to max width 10in).So far has operated reliably without any issues.Liquids stay in bag and chamber remains clean (as long as liquid is not warm prior to sealing). The vacuum turns on until the target vacuum pressure is reached, compared to other models where you set the vacuum time.Vacuum compression (i.e. of plants/fruits) and vacuum marinating have been effective.Cons:Less vacuum pressure than larger chamber vacuums (29.0 inHg vs 29.8 inHg in large chambers equipped with oil-vacuum pumps). This difference has been negligible for sous vide cooking. For comparison the VacMaster VP112S reaches a max vacuum pressure of 29.3, but that device has a larger footprint and weighs more.Door is opaque so you cannot see the vacuuming process. However, I haven't experienced any spill or issue where I'd need to actually monitor the contents. Please see the video I've posted here of the vacuuming process.

Maybe just a bad unit
Maybe I just got a bad unit but compared to the version I purchased for a family member last year this one sucks…well…doesn’t suck. This is a slightly different model. It doesn’t have the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ signs like the previous model it instead has a “custom vac” setting for smaller and larger bags. They came over to “show me what I was doing wrong” and brought theirs and you can see an obvious difference. This one will definitely be going back.

Awesome sealer.
Ok, admittedly this is a crazy purchase for a home cook. That being said, I LOVE this sealer. It sits on my pantry counter looking like a small refrigerator. I use it multiple times every day, because I vacuum seal everything that goes into my freezer. I also vacuum seal dehydrated fruits and vegetables. The main reason I bought this is so I can seal things that have a high liquid content, but in practice, I haven’t actually used it much for that. Yet. It’s just a very cool gadget for a gadget queen.

So far it is great
Newest bit of gadge in my kitchen and I love it thus far. One suggestion invest in a good single hole punch so you can turn non-hanging bags into hanging bags and reuse hanging bags.

Easy to use
Very easy to use. Much quieter than I had expected. Very happy so far.

Compact and easy to use vacuum sealer
This is the first chamber vacuum I've owned and I was looking for a small one. This is easy to use and works well. Probably have used about 30 times so far and it works well. Looks good too.
