Dr. Martens, Vegan Jadon II 8-Eye Synthetic Platform Boot for Men and Women

I ended up returning these bc they are too bulky for FL weather imo. I tried them out for my Chicago trip with “try before you buy” and they were so amazing for Illinois weather! I wore these in the airport and taking them off/putting them on was a breeze. I think I’ll buy them when it gets cooler in FL… but I’ll most likely just buy a pair that are lighter. The boots are heavy but they are comfortable. I really enjoyed them, I’d say they were broken in by the 6th day I wore them in a row. They are so beautiful and easy to dress up and down. I recommend them. They could work in FL weather but I prefer a lighter boot for myself. 🤭

I'm normally a 7&1/2 to 8 but got the 7. They fit snug but comfortably! No major movement in my shoe which is nice bc i cant imagine the blisters from a wobbly shoe.Also love the vegan leather! Its not as flashy as some of the polished leather which is nice bc i love the shape of docs but never have loved the yellow stitching and shiny boots, so this was perfect. Also don't like wearing real leather or fur products anyway.Ive been wearing the boots all day so far and haven't noticed any discomfort as well!Update: its like 3 hours later and i walked another mile or so within that time so my heels are hurting, the blisters are bad. Will break in eventually thoAnother update! I've worn them about 5 times now with two pairs of socks on, helped the blister issue immensely and they are just about broken in

This boot is awesome looking and the fact that they are vegan leather and don't stretch and crease like regular leather is a plus ( my old ones creased and tore on each side of each boot) the downside is the awful seam where the tongue of the boot starts. I've had these over a month and they STILL hurt the tops of my feet. Depends on if when I put the boots on , if the seam curls the " leather " and walking around for hours feels like knives stabbing into the tops of your feet. I haven't figured it out yet, But if you can trim that excess leather off I'm sure they would feel ten times better. Also depends on if the top of your foot is taller I guess from what I saw in other reviews ? Either way cool boots. They give me a semi frankenstein realness which makes my goth heart happy-ish. I guess I can deal with crucified feet after a long day at work. Lol

Had my eye on this boot for too long. Purchased for my birthday. Love the platform height. Don't wear often because I don't what to cherry coating to rub off

The boots are really great just wasn’t used to being up that high do sit down when taking them off try to one leg take off my shoes and end up falling haha

I got a size 8 (US) and they fit me perfect! I love them so much! The only thing I’d like to mention/recommend is wearing socks that go a bit above the boot to avoid it rubbing up against your leg, but other than that, I love them 🥰

I've been looking (lusting) at these boots for months and finally pulled the trigger. They look so cool except for the extreme fade on the toe box and on the back heel. I looked at so many pictures before buying and I saw some evidence of this but nothing as stark as I received. I think it looks terrible but that's my opinion. The tongues on both boots were wrinkled making it a little uncomfortable since the vegan leather is pretty stiff. I sent these back and ordered the Bex vegan because I really wanted a platform boot and the measurements show it has half the platform as these Jadons. Had there not been such a huge difference in shade on the boots I would've kept them.These also would've been my first pair of Docs ever and the soles were not comfortable at all. There was cushion at the heel but it cut off around the arch and the rest was just hard material. I use insoles in all my shoes so not a deal breaker but I definitely don't understand people saying these are comfortable out of the box!

Beautiful well made boots in a deep wine red. Bought for my daughter as a gift. She is a size 4 to 5 shoe but a broad width fitting so the size 5 were the best fit for her. I still think for boots which aren't leather they are very expensive but her joy was worth the money.Arrived qui ply and well packed. Be aware returns have to be paid for so try to get the size right first time

Make sure you dont go size down like i did, i had to return because they were to small. Other than that those boots are lush, i cant wait to sort the return and get them on the right size.

Diese klobigen Schuhe passen echt auf jedes Outfit. Das ist wohl einer der größten Gründe, warum Docs so beliebt sind! Und dieser ist dazu auch noch vegan. Ich habe sie noch nicht wirklich eingelaufen, also kann ich noch nicht behaupten, dass sie ihr Geld wert waren 😁 Sie passen aber perfekt und sehen echt geil aus. Ich konnte sogar ein paar Sohlen eingelegen, damit der Schuh noch angenehmer ist und da ist immer noch genug Platz. Ich habe ein paar Fotos eingefügt, damit man sich die Boots mal genauer anschauen kann!

Amazing boots. I love them. They do fit slightly larger than I expected; I got a size 5 and wish I could have got them in a 4.5... But lacking that option, these are great. The vegan "leather" is very tough and flexible and the boots feel as well made as you'd expect from DM.
