Osprey Farpoint Trek 75 Men's Travel Backpack

This backpack was amazing for my trip in Europe. We did a lot of train travel and sightseeing where we had to carry our bags with us and this bag did an amazing job carrying towards the end of the trip up to 40 lb and did not feel as such at all. Also it was super comfortable to wear for hours straight walking around different cities. I will say that it is too big to bring in places and it's too big to be a carry-on on a plane but it did exactly what I needed it to do to live out of a backpack for 2 weeks and still be able to carry my luggage easily.

I've used this pack twice now and totally fallen in love with it! I thought my old Farpoint 55 was the best possible pack, but this takes it up another notch.The straps make it incredibly easy to shrink the pack strategically if you're not overstuffed and also to ensure the weight is exactly where you want it to be. The quick access to the bottom of the main compartment is just brilliant.If you're wanting something for travel, but with technical pack features, this is just superb.

Maybe because I'm an inexperienced backpacker / packer. This sucker is freaking heavy. Started my trip to New Zealand, it's been a real pain so far just carrying it in the airports and baggage check-in. Traveling the country for about 20 days, it weighs 30lbs .. I probably overpacked. I'll update review after my trip is over.

It's currently on its first international trip as checked luggage. Durable and suspension system makes walking very comfortable. Amazing bag. Glad Osprey introduced this hybrid, really well made.

Loved the backpack but it is to big for me, therefore I can’t really use it. It never gave me a size option for this backpack. I need a small /medium and I think the one they sent me is a med /large. Can I send it back and get the right size?I am 5’7”.

This is perfect for travel- young adult: to/from college/short vacations & longer athletic events.Pocket separation superb!

The Fairpoint Trek 75 backpack is designed extremely well. As an avid outdoorsman and Eagle Scout I am completely amazed by the amount of design and thought put into the backpack. It sits comfortably on my hips with straps that are easily adjusted. The back mesh between my back and the pack is well ventilated, providing good air circulation on my back. The water bottle pouches on each side are big enough to hold my 32oz nalgene water bottle. The pouches even have a hole on the side so that you can reach the water bottle and put the water bottle back without taking the backpack off. I really like the duffel bag like main zipper as it allows easier access to all of the stuff inside the pack compared to having accessibility only through the top. There is a bottom compartment that can hold a sleeping back or shoes, which the divider inside the pack can be undone so as to make one long main compartment inside the pack. There are a lot of zippered pockets inside and out, it’s a little fun to find all of the pockets. The main feature of this pack is the AirCover. It doubles as a pack cover in case it rains while hiking and it is also is a pack cover that the backpack fits completely in and zips closed so that you could check the pack when flying and not have to worry about and straps getting caught and torn off. This means no more black garbage bags for you pack when flying! The AirCover is made of a nice, durable material. I haven’t flown with it yet but I am confident it will survive the harsh environment of the baggage handlers. There is a lot more to talk about this pack, but I will cut it short here. Overall, this is a backpack that is designed amazingly well with the user in mind. It is a great pack with a great brand behind it, so you can’t go wrong with this pack.

Me and my boyfriend are going traveling / digital nomad for a few years. This bag seemed perfect for our travels as it opens like a suitcase as well as being comfy to wear! Very sturgy and attractive bag. He loves it :)

Tiene muchisimos compartimentos para ser de esta marca, pero es incomoda, muy aparatosa, no me ha gustado, parece que tiene un formato de adaptacion para tu tamaño y espalda, pero al final eso, es lo que la hace muy aparatosa, dura e incomoda, para eso prefiero las otras que son para viaje y treking que son muy amplias, con menos bolsillos, pero es una prolongacion de tu espalda y no pesan nada, porque esta si pesa, y al ser mas alargada que las otras, no es comoda para poner la ropa, a ver para una de treking de decatlon que a veces tiene los mismos precios, maravillosa, pero para mi, prefiero otro mdelos de esta marca, que me compre que esa si que es maravilllosaaaaa. Pero es muy buen producto y muy practico si estas acostumbrado a este estilo de treking mas rigido.

Habe schon einige Rucksäcke mit auf Tracking Touren genommen, jedoch hat keiner die Anforderung so leicht gemeistert wie dieser.Die Einstellmöglichkeiten für den Komfort sind wirklich sehr gut.Was wirklich gut durchdacht ist, ist das sich der Rucksack wie ein Koffer von vorne öffnen lässt. Kein komplettes ausräumen mehr wenn man etwas benötigt was relativ weit unten im Rucksack verstaut ist.Auch der normale Gebrauch als Reisetasche / Koffer für Urlaubsreisen mit Hotel Aufenthalt ist wirklich TOP. 2 in 1Der Rucksack hat mich im Sale 155€ gekostet, jedoch jetzt wo ich ihn in verschiedenen Anforderungen getestet habe, würde ich auch viel mehr bezahlen. Der ist sein Geld wirklich wert!!!Auch kein Angst das er evtl. Auf Bilder zu wenig Taschen hat. Man kann wirklich alles was man so brauch in / um ihn unterbringen.Jeder der mehr bei einem Tracking Trip in der Natur / Bergen benötigt ist ein echtes Tier. Beladung bei 4 Tagen Outdoor Trip in den Alpen ca. 22 Kg Brutto Gewicht war angenehm.(Zelt, Schlafsack, Klamotten, Lebensmittel, etc…)

Je suis fan, si je pouvais en faire la collection je le ferais.Il a fait 6 changements d'avion dans sa housse, elle a pas bougé, pas une egratignure. Les ouvertures sont bien pensées, donne facilement accès à tout, plein de poches, plein de fermetures.A porter un bonheur, soutien sur les hanches, le dos ne sent rien.NB je m'en suis servi comme valise pour éviter de galérer comme les instagrammeurs qui débarquent sur une plage de sable avec leurs valises à roulettes... Je suis pas un randonneur et mon avis une fois rempli à bloc (17Kg) la randonnée sera vite écourtée. Gros volume.
