I have a old Calkens trailer, Calkens went out of business 25 years ago so I had to retrofit and these work perfect!

great product, couldn't find anywhere else. should have checked amazon first not last.

The price is a little high but the quality is too!

Changed from the Y-shaped PVC pipe guide to bunks. Loaded much better.

After the initial install of both side of the bunks, I had to reposition them. When I tried to loosen the nuts on the U bolts, I got maybe 1/2 turn CCW then the nut stop turning. They somehow froze in place and I couldn’t turn it anymore. I believe the either the U bolt or the nuts were of inferior metal. After the initial tightening of the nuts, it must have scored the threads and when trying to loosen it would lock in place. So, I had to cut all but one that didn’t tightened down. I had to buy another set of 8 Stainless U bolts to fix it correctly for $85.00 bucks. The only good things were the aluminum square tubing and brackets.

These are excellent brackets. They are at least twice as sturdy as the original brackets on my boat trailer. I was really blown away when I opened the box and saw how well they were built. Heavy duty and well machined.

Everything seemed good until I had to undo some of the u bolts to move the brackets on the boat trailer and the nuts themselves are getting stuck and am unable to get them off with a wrench or power tool. I am going to end up having to cut the u bolts off. It seems as if the u bolt is made of low quality stainless and after you reed then down once, they are junk.

Took me a trip to the hardware store and an additional $15.71. The 3” bolts are shown in the product offer but they were not included. I was expecting to receive all parts in the picture for the price paid.
