Looks great, rides good!
I needed a new bike and this one looked awesome with the 3 spoke wheels! I also wanted something lighter than my old MTB and this one is, nothing too dramatic but it’s quite a bit easier to carry around and maneuver. I’ve only risen it about 4 or 5 times now (about 10 miles each) but it feels good and hasn’t given me any issues. I spend awhile getting the brakes and wheels adjusted when first assembling it, but I feel any bike you have to put together is going to need that treatment. The shocks felt very stiff out of the box but there is an adjusted so I loosened it up as much as I could and it rides better on my path now. I’d recommend this bike! Will update if anything catastrophic or unexpected happens to it.

This is not a bad bike
Bought this just for a bike to cruise around the neighborhood as I don’t take my expensive one out as I use that for the mountains. Now you won’t be taking this on extreme trails as it’s not really made more that much abuse but as a light trail and roads bike it’s pretty good. It does require some tuning and I’d recommend putting grease in the headstock as I had to do that as there was minimal grease in it. Tires weren’t bad but I did replace them and added liners to them but overall I wouldn’t have a problem recommending this bike

Fairly decent bike
I received this bike on time and undamaged. The bike only took about 15 minutes to assemble and tweak the derailleur and disc brakes and it was ready to ride. Its a very nice looking bike, good frame and I was surprised how light the 6-spokes wheels are. The only reason I didn't give this a 5-star is because the front hub locking skewer was the wrong part - it was about 3 inches too long. I was also a little disappointed that the rear hub is not a quick release (with locking skewer), but rather a conventional nut and bolt hub. My bad for not researching the Shimano derailleur gear used on this bike, it's just about the cheapest Shimano gear you can by and as a result, does not justify the $349 I paid for the bike. Only time will tell if the cheap Shimano gear will hold up. I've been riding the pretty hard, daily, for about 10 days now and it seems to be holding up well.

Missing parts
Missing major parts to front wheel assembly, disc break was slight bent, might of of mattered if the wheel went on correctly with proper parts and aliment but due to not having the correct parts I can't safely say it'd not also be an issue. They forgot a washer and cap nut, and I tired getting my own but threading didn't match. I contacted support and they didn't reply for 2 days so I processed the return and they said it was a pity of returned it and I said it was a pity they sold it like this. They seem defensive in their reply like it was my fault I returned it VS working with them. They did offer to pay for parts missing and said their shop is closed due to covid but I wouldn't trust that myself.Other than that. The bike itself is really nice, and I think a great value for the money. It looks attractive, seems sturdy and doesn't look cheap. Just missing parts.

Great bike for the price!
Great looking bike for the value! I did add a couple things, my preference. I went with aluminum pedals and changed the tires to road tires (since that’s what I’m mainly doing). I also changed the hand grips, mainly for the color, but any of the stock items would do just fine. I did go over every bolt and made sure they were tightened, as in shipping things can get bounced around. I also adjusted the front brake, as well as both de-railers to get it working smoothly. This would be done with any bike assembly though. The bike is very smooth and rides great. No complaints here, and I’m very pleased with the purchase so far.

Updated!
Update 1.5 months after purchase:After initially being ignored by Hilamd's customer service, I posted the review below and 1 star. Customer service emailed me! After a series of emails, photos, & screen shots, Hiland acknowledged that the bike should have come with trigger style gear shifters. The front wheel decals are actually correct, but the back wheel ones are backwards (and so are all the decals on their stock photo bike).SOLUTION: Hiland offered to send a set of gear shifters, send a set of decals, and refund 15%. I agreed that was a very fair & acceptable solution. The gear shifters and decals arrived late last week and are now installed. They work beautifully, and we're looking forward to taking the bike for a spin soon! I have not had a chance to install the decals yet, and I have not yet received a refund. I've bumped this to 3 stars and will add another when they've followed through with that as well.I was initially quite angry with Hiland's handling of this, but I give them credit for eventually acknowledging the problems and trying to make it right. I can respect that. Big thanks to Chloe at Hiland, who has been emailing me off & on for over a month now, trying to get this resolved.Original review:STOP! DON'T BUY THIS! This bike is NOT as described, not as pictured!! I contacted their customer service, both through Amazon and through Hiland, and they don't care and refuse to do anything!First, the product details specifically say this has a trigger style gear shifter. IT DOES NOT! This was not included in the box, and the seller has refused to correct this. They responded that it has gear shifters. Obviously! But they are not the style their product details said would be included!Second, the paint job on the front wheel is BACKWARDS! The white arrow detail that's supposed to point forward paints back towards the pedals instead, opposite from the back wheel. The wheel can't just be turned around; it has to be mounted that direction. According to the seller, it's just fine.Their customer service is appallingly bad and I'm sincerely angry that we bought this expensive of a bike only to find out it's not what they claimed, and their QC is nonexistent.Pictures of the CLEARLY NOT TRIGGER STYLE gear shifters and the wonky, stupid paint job are attached.
