Fishman AG1-125 Passive 6-string Acoustic Undersaddle Pickup - Wide Format

I tried a KKK transducer setup. But there was simply no way to safely install it. It was way too clear that super glue plus a micro sound cavity was a bad idea. This one went in cleanly and sounds great. Especially balanced with a Fishman pre amp.

I've been using Fishman products for over 20 years now. They used to provide great installation material with their products. You are now directed to go online to their support pages which are glitchy and lacking of real instructions. the under-saddle pickup is a good unit, a bit harsh on treble frequencies. This can be remedied with an eq box.

I had a Fishman put in another Spanish guitar (no onboard pre-amp), and it has worked great for years (...would probably sound even better with an external Baggs pre-amp). Had problems with my old '84 Takamine classical (unbalanced, no bass response), so installed this, then found problem was in pre-amp. I'll probably bypass the pre-amp (hard to replace), and run straight out the back.

I ordered this fishman pickup for my Fender Acoustic guitar because I wanted to use my own guitar for the church band. Since my guitar did not come with a pickup, I had been using an inferior guitar that just didn't sound very good at all. I had the band leader help me instal it and I'm happy I did. It was kind of difficult. I would not want to do it by myself the first time incase I messed something up. I'm lucky I have a tiny hand and a long skinny arm so that I could put it together the right way.All in all though, it works great. The bass of the guitar doesn't seem to come out as much as treble but for as cheap as this was, I won't complain. Works great for what I'm using it for.

I've been using these since Martin Marketed them as the thinline. I currently have it in a classical and record with it sometimes.

We had the installation done by the luthier who built the guitar and connected to my board afterwards sound is great. no preamp necessary,the board takes care of the levels. the product delivery was very fast, 1 day early.

I didn't get what I ordered, but what I got satisfactory so I'm still gonna give it 3 stars. What I acutally got was the RED pick up, which is the standard size and not one of these!!! It's working great though!!!!!

Piezo system with warm sound. Not so bright, well ballanced. Easy to install on my Ovation Celebrity Deluxe preamp

You pay for what you get. This is most certainly more expensive then most and it will need to be fitted which involves drilling a hole in your ukulele and doing some soldered but it is the best ukulele undersaddle pickup there is..in my opinion. Nice sounding pickup but low output and needs a preamp to get the best out of it. There are cheaper alternatives which sound as good (Shadow)

Very good, easy to fit for professional fitter, could be done DIY but I chose a pro to fit it to my ukulele. Sound requires Pre amp to get best from it, quite toppy without. Perfect for direct recording and replicates the natural tone well.

The best passive under-saddle Ukulele pickup in my opinion. Price is high but competitive internationally.
