This product made me a convert to white pepper. I had bought some from the leading natural foods supermarket chain that was totally tasteless. Then I tried this, and there was a world of difference: it was full of flavor, fresh and delicious. I use it a couple times a day and this small package has lasted me for months. I was worried that it would go flat before I finished it, but I'm about to reorder and my first batch still tastes great.

When I read previous reviews of this product, I was a little concerned. When I opened the Mylar bag, the beautiful sweet peppery fragrance was strong and amazing! I bought these because I have calcium oxalate kidney stone disease, and am trying to avoid becoming a human geode. While black pepper isn’t as high in oxalates as a single spinach leaf, they do add up. Using white pepper has been a very pleasant and healthy alternative for me. I highly recommend these white peppercorns they smell and taste delicious.

When I first got this, I was disappointed to see that the amount of peppercorns was less than what I expected. However, they are more “dense” that usual black peppercorns so they have lasted more than what I was expecting. Have been using them almost daily for 6-7 weeks now and still have half of the amount left in my grinder. They taste good. Not very spicy. Would buy again.

The quality, freshness and delicacy of this pepper encouraged me to use it in ways I had not thought of with black peppercorns. This morning for breakfast I toasted whole grain bread, spread goat cheese and apricot jam on top. Then….I generously ground this pepper over all. Oh my!! Delicious!

I have never used white pepper but thought I'd give it a try for light colored dishes where black pepper would stand out visually. I tried it and WOW, was I pleasantly surprised and pleased. This brand of pepper is superb! Put it in your favorite grinder and you may never use black pepper again (just kidding 'cause black pepper is the king of spices and once was more costly than gold). Try it, you'll like it!

I'm not able to have black pepper but I can tolerate this white pepper and it has a good pepper flavor to it but milder.
