As a group for a single project, I bought the Legrand - Pass & Seymour 3804 50 Amp Straight Blade Single Receptacle (Amazon); Leviton 279-S00 50 Amp, 125/250V, Nema 14-50R, 3P, 4W, Flush Mounting Receptacle (Amazon); Leviton 83026 2-Gang Flush Mount 2.15-Inch Diameter, Device Receptacle Wallplate (2) (Amazon); Hubbell-Raco 683 Two-Device Switch, 4-Inch X 2-1/8-Inch Deep Square Electrical Box (2) (Amazon); and the 50' 8/3 SOOW SO Portable Power Cord Outdoor Durable Flexible Wire Cable 600V (Amazon), to make a 30 foot extension cable that goes from my 220 VAC dryer connection to the other end of my patio where I have a welding station setup. It’s a project that I am excited about completing because of the freedom it will give me and I won’t have to stumble over extension cords on the floor.

Easy enough to work with.
Very easy and simple to work with. I bought this box to house my 14-50R plug for my new EV setup. My 8/3 wire fit easily into the smallest port hole and once everything was installed, I clamped the wire down and closed up the box.I definitely recommend it, worked great the first time without any issue.

Perfect fit, excellent quality, but…
Overall a good metal box. Fits the Bryant (aka Hubble) nema 14-50 plug bought separately. The mount holes line up perfectly. Box is deep enough to contain receptacle, but it’s a tight fit once you wire in. But why they drill and thread a ground hole and not include the screw, is a head scratcher.

l used 6/3 wires with a Bryant 1450 plug, had to use a 1/2 inch spacer. hubbell plug might have been more room

Does not provide threaded hole for Ground wire.
Ground screw no threaded hole, but has a hole drilled for it..use sheet metal self tapping screw.Good heavy gauge box and sized right for Hubbell 9450 Receptacle +10/3 wires
