I had a ton of 3x12 subway tile to install, aproximately 200sq ft. I bought this manual tile cutting tool to save time. It did the job well. It cut the ceramic tile enamel with ease after just a light scratch of the tile's surface. I also tried this tool out on hard pressed ceramic tile. The hard pressed tile split fairly easily but a guy should definately use a wet saw for exposed cut, as the manual cutting tool produced much more damage to the tiles decorative surface along the cut edge. Worked for cutting the hard pressed tile where the cut edge is hidden in a corner.Laser is accurate enough for most corner work. If you want serious accuracy and cleaner cut edges you'll need a decent wet saw with the right cutting wheel.I enjoyed using this tool. WorkedExcellent for soft ceramic. Rough edges that needed to look nice can be cleaned up with a tile sanding stone.

Perfect cut, had to shim the laser but after that everything is perfect! This could easily be $500 in home depot, the quality is fantastic, straight cuts no shipping if you lightly score the tile. 6 out of 5 stars fantastic quality might get another

The functionality is great and the laser is nice. It eats batteries like there is no tomorrow but I suppose that's just part of the deal.The alignment is slightly off, which causes a slight angle in the cut. Measure both ends using the laser guide and adjust accordingly as you work if you are cutting large format tile.

I’m awfully confused about how we return things on Amazon. I bought this thinking if I spend a little extra it will be better quality. I cut maybe 10 tiles before the cutter broke. There is no way to return this item. I had to reach out to company all they could do is send me parts to fix myself. It took them over two weeks to send the parts so my whole project has been severely delayed. I finally got the part just to find out there is another part broken. How is this possible??? Why can’t I return this item? This has happened to several things I’ve bought on Amazon where there is no option for returning. Next time I’ll just go to a hardware store.

it just cuts perfectly fine. 24" porcelain tile along long side - like knife thru butter. love it.

Good quality materials. Laser was a nice touch although mine was misaligned when received. I’m not sure if it’s the wheel or the design of the base but it doesn’t cut as straight as other premium snappers I have used. That being said I refuse to pay $500 or more on a snapper when a wet saw is in the same price point. There are plenty of time applications where a snapper is better than a wet saw as you can use it right next to you without risk of mess. I use this strictly for flooring tile now as my cut ends are always covered by trim and if it’s slightly jagged it will not be seen. Don’t suggest for wall tile unless you really want to put those Diamond sponges to work.
