This is a great game. I bought it for my 8 year old son as he likes these kinds of games, but have actually played it a lot with my husband too. The rules are very clear so it's easy to grasp how to play and the cubes are really well made and feel nice too. There are different ways to play (and a lot of the reviews here refer to the solo mode) but our favourite is the head to head mode where you race against the other player to build the image on the card using the pixelated cubes. I really liked the way the tension builds. Overall I think this is a simple concept but really great fun!

Good quality, nice packaging/presentation. I love the idea. I used to create sprites for computers back in the 80s like this.However, what I do not understand is how this got past so many people before it was produced.Why? Well you get a bunch of black and GREY cubes and supposedly a bunch of black and WHITE cubes.Except the "white" is only just a SLIGHTLY lighter shade of grey. It is very difficult to tell them apart.I cannot be the only one to have noticed. If they had been black and say, ZINC or TITANIUM white as opposed to just one shade lighter grey than the GREY then it would have been 5 stars.

This is a fab little game, which can be played alone or with someone else. It’s quite a simple idea, and very easy to get the hang of. I think this is a great game that can be played with any generation. The only reason I knocked off one star, is that I do think it’s expensive for what it is - basically a box, some cards and a few pieces of plastic!

We've had loads of fun with Pixit! I bought it for my family to enjoy and it's great to play one on one, as a travel game or in teams too! The head to head mode is definitely the most fun as everyone gets so competitive. The cubes are really well made and the box looks awesome, i love that it's a giant version of the mini cubes inside. Would definitely recommend for all ages!

This is a great game, perfect for solo or double play.

Good concept but the images don't go to the edge so make it more difficult to see the patterns coming together when you are making the image. Once uv played a few times the novelty wears off.

A happy alternative to playing solitaire - a useful game to take to the pub. Comprising two sets of 16 cubes which have a particular combination of pixilated patterns on them, and a set of cards carrying pixelated patterns, this compact little game offers you a number of playing modes to try out. Basically, you can draw a card from the deck and play against the clock to reproduce the picture by using all your set of bricks. The second set of bricks allows two players to compete. Other modes, such as memory or creative modes are also offered.Besides having an instruction card in the box there is a short YouTube video that explains it all, very simply.There are very few games that give themselves as easily as this does to unpressured solo play, and for that reason alone, this demands recommendation. I do not understand some of the negative comments that have been posted because my wife and I found this game to have clear potential. If you like to play a deck of cards out in solitaire, I am sure that you will also like this game. It also has the advantage of being something that you can slip into a handbag and carry around with you so that you have something to occupy yourself with.

I played this game against my mum a few times! It kept my attention for a while and is good for hand and eye co-ordination and problem solving at speed against your opponent. Overall quite a good game, useful size to take away with you and agree that it is a game for 6 years plus.(Teenager 13 years)
