Blove's Smackalicious Sauce Seasoning Mix (Mild)

Bought this years ago now I bought the one with the already made

I am In love with this sauce I can only enjoy the mild version however I add extra onions because I love them and have veggies like cucumbers on the side. Bethany please restock the mild please! Your sauce is amazing I won’t buy the pre made sauce just because I enjoy knowing the food was made in my home in my kitchen and by me. But please know as long as you are selling the mild sauce mix you will have a loyal customer

It is a little more forward with a thyme flavor than I was expecting but it’s really good, I imagine as it sits in the fridge a day it will be more cohesive. I made jumbo shrimp, boiled eggs, broccoli and potatoes and poured the sauce over it. The lemon rainnnn as b love says really does make the difference. Excited to try with snow crab!

Never have I ever left a review on anything and it pains me to do this but because of the price point for such a poor product I must express that this product shot my expectations. I am highly disappointed. I cannot tell you how excited I was about trying this especially after watching countless YouTube videos. I am a South Florida native and I grew up on seafood. I was very skeptical to purchase something from someone who probably didn't grow up around seafood and only can relate to seafood by way of purchasing it from Sams or Costco or wherever and who doesn't know the various parts of the crab etc. but I really wanted to support her as a black business. As a chef, I follow directions very well and I have to say that if this tastes any different from my experience, there are some ingredients that are being left out or it's just a matter of flavor profile. I watched the video several times and my clue should have been when Blove kept saying that you can put anything with it etc., etc. That's cool but if someone wants to follow the original recipe to start or maybe they are not creative then the recipe on the package should work but unfortunately it's not stable or again it just may be a matter of taste. I hope this criticism is taken constructively and not a part of one of your videos where your whole family tries to defend my opinion. I will also say that I was also disappointed that for 25 dollars there is no refund. But all in all I wish Blove continued success but its definitely not the seasoning for me.

Too heavy on the oregano. I gave this a sauce a try on two different occasions and both times I was underwhelmed for the $25 price tag. I would recommend experimenting with spices you have at home versus purchasing this packet. I was really hoping it was as delicious as it looks online but it was a miss, twice. It tastes very similar to a sweet pasta sauce, which is not what I had in mind for dipping seafood in.

I was so excited to try this sauce. I am a huge fan of Blove. She seems super sweet and about her family and culture.I was super scared to try the sauce because of the reviews saying it tasted like Italian seasoning and spaghetti sauce. I HATE red sauce but I wanted to support Blove.Sauce has a very smoky flavor. It doesn't taste like how I thought it would. It doesn't take like pizza sauce but closer to a chili or bbq. It taste good but I wouldn't eat it with seafood. I did modify the sauce a bit. I did not add ginger (I freaking hate ginger) or onions ( to lazy to cut them).I think the price is reasonable. I don't know why 'certain' people see 'certain' people and think that it automatically means a discount? If another brand created a seafood seasoning pack would you try and negotiate the price? No. You would buy it and keep it moving. If the price is too much...that's not their fault....it's just not in your budget.Overall, I would not buy it again...but I don't regret trying it. I would recommend trying though. I'm excited to see what else she comes out with.
