This blanket is very soft. The colors are bright and I have washed it three times, colors are still good and no pilling. I would say the blanket is a medium thickness. Not cheap thin at all. Perfect to put on the couch in case I get cold.

The cat liked the one I had so much we got this for hubby's bed for when he's in there.
